You may have noticed our new name and profile picture??? Since starting Pink Ladies Glasgow, we have always operated independently to address what’s happening here in Glasgow. However, Scotlands problems extend to all 32 local authorities. So we wanted a name that represented those objectives. By working with other groups at a local level we have been able to challenge council processes, carry out street patrols, petition Holyrood, campaign for genuine change, and so much more. All of this in just 4 months, from a group of mums who decided Enough was Enough. Therefore, we wanted a name that could encapsulate that focus. We remain part of the Pink Ladies network and will continue to support any work they do in defence of women and children in the UK. However for now our priority is clear: addressing the issues we are facing here at home. Scotland and its children are being failed every day. Protecting Scotland’s future has to come first. We hope you will continue to support us in these efforts. Thank you Tartan Ladies 💜

They just pretend that didn’t happen and that they were not culpable for how long it was allowed to continue 🤬🤬🤬
Reparations for slavery? Where is that urgency for the girls raped by Pakistani Muslim gangs in Britain, or the women still being trafficked and exploited today? Where is their compensation, and accountability for the officials who failed them? The dead make convenient villains. Confronting living perpetrators, and the institutions that failed their victims, requires rather more courage than another speech about Britain’s past. Oh and btw, if we’re going to put history on trial, we might acknowledge Britain’s role in suppressing the slave trade. Selective memory is a curious foundation for moral superiority.

It’s shocking and the Scottish Government have allowed this to happen. They are still are allowing this. The local government regulations regards a “fit and proper person” are so ambiguous it’s terrifying. This is a snapshot of the cases we have uncovered and presented in our campaign to change the process.
Do you feel safe getting in a taxi?

The reality is, neither @reformparty_uk or @RestoreBritain are going to win anything by them selves. As a Restore member, If a Reform councilor has a chance to win a seat in next years elections, I will help them. We are not enemies. We already have the effing system to defeat.
This might make me unpopular but I am not here to be liked unlike some people who crave the attention, But this restore vs reform shite is actually becoming boring now it’s like watch lefties attack each other because one wants to be a tranny and the other does not If you support reform good on you although they are Tory 2.0 and have loads of foreigners in their ranks, if you support Restore good on you although who you voting for if early election is called? Get a fucking grip and have proper conversations with out point scoring it’s draining and achieves fuck all, we are all meant to be on the same sid

Shocking - absolutely shameful 🤬🤬
The SNP Government’s own figures show sexual crimes at a record high of 16,430 last year. At least one in three of them involved a child under 18. Nearly 4 in 10 of all these crimes were not cleared up.

Very good question ⬇️⬇️
Can someone explain why Keir Starmer, who is no longer Prime Minister or even part of the Government, has been allocated legal representation through the Government Legal Department for the National Grooming Gangs Inquiry, while victims and survivors have had to secure their own representation and apply for funding? Why is a former Prime Minister receiving government legal support while survivors face additional hurdles?

Glasgow City October RSO numbers are out. At least 612 registered sex offenders live in the community in Glasgow. Highest of the areas counted: G32 63 · G20 53 · G21 49. Look up your postcode yourself scotland.police.uk/about-us/… Or send me your postcode and I'll send you your card.

In light of the First Minister’s unambiguous agreement in Parliament that a convicted rapist should never have been allowed to keep his taxi licence, we expect him to be among the first to respond to our campaign. Convicted sex offenders are still being handed licences. Those awaiting trial under the sub judice system are routinely given the benefit of the doubt — cases that can drag on for years, leaving them free to drive women throughout. The law governing this has not been properly updated in decades. The current system is a postcode lottery across Scotland’s 32 local authorities. That inconsistency must end. Licensing decisions should be returned to Police Scotland, who hold the full case details and are best placed to judge the real risk to women’s safety. We thank every MSP and council official who has already responded positively. The other 122 have yet to do so. We now look forward to hearing from the First Minister and the Scottish Government without further delay. Please reach out to your local MSP and request they support our efforts. @gbpacscotland @MyDugAlbie @ScottishCA @ScottishCAWomen @ThomasKerrMSP @JoanCooney15099 @EddieGrice1984 @SnoopDegB
