🥳 LIFE UPDATE 🥳 I’ve joined the incredible team at @privy_io to lead marketing and help bring crypto to the next billion users - by making true ownership seamless from day one. It’s no secret I believe crypto should be accessible to everyone. I spoke about it at @consensus2026, built toward it at @thehugxyz, and wrote about it in my book. I started vibe-coding my own apps this year... and thanks to Privy, I was able to help several people go onchain for the very first time! It made me more bullish than ever on how this infrastructure will reshape the future in ways we can’t yet imagine. So excited to join @sternhenri, @asta_li, @segall_max, and the rest of the team to make it real. LFG ❤️

agents building integrations for other agents to pay for things — all possible today, thanks to stripe and stablecoins 😤
1/ Coding agents, like Claude Code and Codex, can now build working machine payment integrations on Stripe in one shot. With Stripe's Machine Payments SDK, developers can build APIs and services that AI agents pay for with stablecoins, one request at a time.

1/ Privy lets developers give AI agents stablecoin wallets to hold funds and pay as they work. But not all agent wallets work the same way. With @link Agent Wallet and @stripe Issuing, agents can also spend using saved cards or stablecoin-backed cards.

Stripe is expanding stablecoin card issuing to 65+ countries and making it easier to build financial products that work across fiat and stablecoins, with unified APIs for holding, moving, and spending money. More on what we're bringing to @money2020: stripe.com/blog/new-ways-for….

kaili is an OG crypto privacy guru, and it's so exciting to see her take her expertise from @circle to now @privy_io and @tempo zones give this a read!!!
I’ve found myself detouring back to onchain privacy from a few different angles over the last five years. Here's a few thoughts I wrote yesterday on what’s changed, what I've learned, and what it takes for technically interesting things to become useful :)

sounds like a pretty good place to work, if you ask me (i'm hiring)
Today is probably a good time to check in on things with @privy_io, which became part of @stripe just over a year ago. Our acquisition was predicated on three factors: stablecoin growth, self-custody as a key enabler of broader global coverage, and rapidly increasing demand for programmable financial infrastructure. As we said at the time, "money has to reside somewhere, and Privy builds the world's best programmable vaults." Since then, the Privy team has executed exceptionally well: assets in Privy wallets have grown ~25x, monthly active developers are up ~3x, revenue is up ~9x, and Privy now facilitates nearly $25B of monthly transaction volume. @tryramp, @Deel, @Klarna, @felixpago, @HyperliquidX, and thousands of other businesses are building embedded banking functionality on Privy. At Stripe, we're deeply integrating Privy into Treasury, @Link, and Connect. In each case, it's accelerating our global expansion, and enabling us to build better functionality faster. (Coming soon: @Link balances.) We're also seeing that Privy's wallet infrastructure is the ideal substrate for agents to transact and earn -- live today with @merit_systems, @orthogonal_sh, @Nevermined_ai, @prlnet, and more. Developers prefer programmable financial infrastructure, but agents need it. We expect that the agentic economy will continue to grow extremely quickly. The Privy team has maintained remarkable product velocity, with major launches this year including deposit addresses, earning on Privy balances, digital asset accounts, custodial wallets, and Stripe's own stablecoin cards. It's also been neat to see how Privy has been accelerated by Stripe, with better onramps, @stablecoin payment rails and licenses, Stripe's fiat capabilities and issuing stack, and integration with @Tempo. Together, we're building one API for holding stablecoin balances and earning yield, moving money in and out of fiat, and orchestrating spend with cards. We still have a lot of work to do, not least in integrating everything across Privy, Bridge, and the rest of Stripe -- there's been so much feature and functionality expansion that we haven't yet had much time to reconcile everything. Overall, though, I'm very happy with how things are going, and excited by where these capabilities are headed. If you're interested in working on the future of stablecoins, agentic payments, and crypto's deployment in the real world, you should get in touch with @sternhenri (now leading all of @StripeCrypto) or others on the team.

flexible custody is the way
Debbie Soon (@debsoon) of Privy (@privy_io) describes custody as having technical, regulatory and commercial dimensions: who controls the keys, how that control is interpreted legally, and how much risk a business is willing to take. She said Privy lets customers configure custody by geography. Watch the full fireside featuring: Coral Taylor of Stripe (@stripe) and Steve Vallas of Blockchain APAC.

bringing stablecoins to the masses
1/ @stripe Treasury now uses OUSD on @tempo as the default stablecoin asset for US businesses, making it easier to hold and move money across fiat and crypto. Businesses can convert between OUSD and USD, EUR, or GBP without leaving Stripe.

🫡🫡🫡 Updated metrics (fresh off the press): - 190M+ accounts (but this is less and less of a good metric imo) - 3,000+ teams in prod - wallets moved over $25B in Sept volume A big change since the acq has been the stablecoin share of wallets, which has gone up significantly
At the time Stripe acquired Privy in 2025, it powered 75M+ accounts across 1,000+ developer teams & had orchestrated billions of dollars in transactions. Privy is crypto infrastructure that lets companies embed wallets directly inside their products. Instead of forcing users to install a browser extension, manage seed phrases or leave the app, Privy lets them sign in with things like email or Google & automatically provisions a wallet behind the scenes. Today, Privy says it powers 120M+ accounts for 1,500+ developers & businesses & processes billions of dollars in volume every month. John Collison (@collision) says the acquisition also brought something Stripe couldn’t easily replicate: “The folks on those teams are crypto native in a way that it would be hard to get there that quickly at Stripe.” @privy_io @asta_li @sternhenri @segall_max
