I try not to get it in to who has better jobs but in this case, @WVUhoops is (if not a sleeping giant) a better job that @IowaHoops right now in my opinion. The team is the state’s pro basketball team & fan support is awesome. They have great NIL and great facilities. And the governor has your back. The leagues are similar, of course. I’m hoping that the Mountaineers do not need another coach for a while.

I talked to some of the 35 @NBA scouts last night the @BaylorMBB @ArizonaMBB & there’s growing interest in @WVUhoops Javon Small. He’s almost single-handedly keeping the Mountaineers in NCAA contention & in my Top 3 for @Big12Conference POY.

DeVries on being shorthanded: "There are no excuses in this program. We are going to line up and go compete. This is a great atmosphere but like I told our guys, they (the fans) don't play for them. It's our five versus their five. Nothing else matters."

Two of West Virginia's top three scorers --- Tucker DeVries and Amani Hansberry --- were unavailable for today's game at Kansas due to injuries.
The Mountaineers just won at Allen Fieldhouse for the first time EVER.
