Yesterday we celebrated DeepSig's 10th anniversary with a ribbon-cutting at our newly expanded Arlington HQ.
It was a chance to step back and look at how far the work has come. A decade ago, applying deep learning to wireless was a research question. Today, it’s running in products, open-source AI-RAN, and in work with partners across commercial telecom and defense.
We also opened the doors to our new OCUDU Lab, with live demos of our #OCUDU contributions. Throughout the rest of the office, guests explored an industry showcase of our full software and technology portfolio, including live demos of OmniSIG and OmniPHY-Axon.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate: our partners, customers, friends, and the Arlington community that has been home since day one. We’re glad to keep growing here.
And to our team, past and present: ten years of AI-native wireless happened because of the people who did the work.
The next decade of #wireless is being built now, and we’re excited to be part of it. 🚀

Last day of AUSA.
Over the past few days, our federal team has been talking with people across the Army and the defense industry about the same core problem: the RF environment keeps getting busier, and the signals that matter are getting harder to find.
One thing we keep coming back to is that no two missions care about the same signals. That’s why we built OmniSIG to be something teams can build on, not just a fixed tool. OmniSIG detects and classifies RF signals in real time, and with OmniSIG Studio, teams can train models on the signals that matter most to them.
If we haven’t connected yet, there’s still time. Email us at [email protected] to schedule a meeting or private demo.
And if you’re not at the show, we still want to hear from you. What signals are your teams trying to find?

Radios, drones, sensors, and navigation all share the spectrum, and it’s getting more crowded and contested. Our federal team is at #AUSA2026 through tomorrow, showing how our AI-native software helps.

Heading to #AUSA2026? Let's find time to talk.
The #RF environment soldiers operate in is increasingly crowded and contested. We build #AI-native signal processing that helps detect, identify, and make sense of signals faster, supporting #spectrum awareness, #electromagneticwarfare, and resilient tactical communications.
If those are on your priority list, we'd like to hear what you're up against and where better RF insight could make a difference.
Our federal team will be at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center October 12 to 14 and available for meetings and technical discussions.
Email [email protected] to set up a meeting.

DeepSig is at @FCC headquarters in Washington today for the first meeting of the newly chartered Technological Advisory Council (TAC).
The TAC brings together technical experts from industry, academia, and government to advise the FCC on emerging communications technologies. This term's work is organized into three new working groups: Emerging Wireless Broadband, AI/ML and Computing, and Spectrum Management Reform.
These are areas where DeepSig works every day, and we're glad to have our CTO @oshtim & VP Technical Standards contributing to the discussion.
The meeting is open to the public and streaming now at fcc.gov/live.

DeepSig is honored to be invited to contribute to the @NATO Wireless Communications Standards Project (#NWCSP), joining a select group of experts helping shape wireless communications recommendations for NATO member and partner nations.
NWCSP brings together government, industry, and academia to advance secure, interoperable communications standards. Representing DeepSig, our VP of Technical Standards, Dr. Jim Lansford, is contributing to discussions on technologies that can make 6G more tolerant of interference and malicious jamming, while enabling integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) for applications such as drone intrusion detection.
We look forward to bringing our AI and machine learning expertise, informed by our work in AI-RAN and contributions to the open-source OCUDU project, to this effort. It’s an opportunity to help translate advances in wireless technology into recommendations that support more resilient communications and greater situational awareness for allied forces.

There are tens of thousands of cell towers across any given country with radios listening to the airwaves around the clock. What if they could also spot drones and jammers?
That's what we showed at #NokiaRadioWorld in Oulu. Our AI spectrum sensing software, OmniSIG, ran directly inside Nokia's AI-RAN baseband. It used the same radio signals the network already receives to detect and classify drones, jammers, GPS spoofers, and unknown transmitters in real time.
No new hardware, no new towers, and no change to how the network carries calls and data. The network kept doing its job and picked up a second one.
Dedicated sensors can protect an airport or a stadium. A mobile network can cover a whole nation.
Thanks to the @nokia team for a great week in Oulu! Missed the demo? Send us a note at [email protected] to schedule a meeting with our team.

A hands-on start to #GRCon2026 in Raleigh!
Our Director of ML, Raj Bhattacharjea, led the workshop "AI-RAN with OCUDU and GNU Radio." Participants built their own open-source 5G network, connected real smartphones to it, explored GPU acceleration, and streamed live uplink signals into GNU Radio. The session ended with a neural-network receiver demo showing #AI at work inside a live 5G stack.
Meanwhile, Derek Kozel, Principal Investigator for @gnuradio and an engineering consultant at DeepSig, led "Intro to GNU Radio." He took participants from installation to working with radio hardware and building their own custom blocks.
Thank you to everyone who joined the workshops and to the GNU Radio organizers! We’re looking forward to more conversations this week.
Stop by our booth tomorrow in the expo hall to see #OmniSIG in action and connect with our team to learn more about our AI-powered solutions.
