#NoKings
A visual metaphor for the "No Kings" movement, protesting the rise of authoritarianism, fascism and white supremacy in the USA under Donald Trump's presidency. The image shows a game of chess on a board baring the colours of the American flag. Two pawns (coloured) have forced the King (White) into check, knocking the King over off the board. Above the toppling king reads, "No Kings," where the one pawn delivering the blow replaces the "i." The only other pieces visible in frame are other remaining coloured pawn pieces.

My Githyanki Bard (@baldursgate3), David Bowstring. Feel free to boo me off stage. #BaldurGate3 #Tav #Fanart #characterart
An illustration/fan art piece of my custom character in the virtual RPG game, Baldurs Gate 3. This tall, slender, androgynous humanoid with bony alien features has the face and makings of a timeless rock star.

Mariya Takeuchi - "Plastic Love" #caricature #digitalsketch #citypop #music
A black and white digital "ink" sketch of Japanese musican and City Pop icon, Mariya Takeuchi. A renown song of hers is "Plastic Love," released in 1985, to which made a resurgence and has exploded in popularity these last 5 years. For good reason; it's a bop.

"Lightyear" is officially out in theaters now! Woo! Designing the Zyclops was an exciting challenge. As I've never done anything like this before, I had a lot of guidance from Greg Peltz (who designed Zurg) and Grant Alexander, who deserve much thanks. #Lightyear #characterdesign

I grew up watching Mecha Animes like Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, Evangelion, Eskaflowne... I've always been in awe of the artistry that went into those shows but what those artists do is a whole different way of thinking that I struggled with. Mad respect for all you Mecha artists.

All and all, I'm thrilled with how it turned out. It was a huge learning curve and having the trust of my director, Angus MacLane and the support of my team through the process meant more to me than they may know.

I did A LOT of flight suit exploration for Buzz (I lost count how many I did). Here is just a small hand full of those concepts. #Lightyear #BuzzLightyear #characterdesign #conceptart
