One last financial tip for the year. If you can afford it, please save yourself the cost of monthly expenses and pay your subscriptions ANNUALLY. You pay on average 25% less annually, that’s one less monthly bill you have to pay, & income you can now save.

This is your reminder to call these service companies we pay monthly and ask for a discount for your continued loyalty or a retention rate. I threatened to leave and my bill magically went from $289 to $209.

Proven ways to pay off debt if the balance & interest have become difficult to manage are to call the debt collector directly to see if they offer a lower interest rate, payment plans, or a settlement option if sent to collections. A balance transfer to a 0% credit card works too

Last thing, companies will also work with you on a price if you pay annually. Audible is $14.99 a month. I called and asked for their annual rate, they told me it’s $49.99 deal for the holidays. I paid immediately. That’s a 129.89 yearly savings. Finesse & find a way to save!

For example: Spotify is 11.99 a month. That’s 143.88 a year monthly. I bought a $99 annual subscription card that covers the full year. That’s a saving of 44.88 yearly and that’s just one subscription. The less you pay monthly and annually, the more you save.
