I want to share some of my thoughts on this voting situation (it’s a long tweet but i really hope evers can take the time to read..🥹🙏🏻) Honestly seeing EVERs still giving our all and fighting even though we’re not sure if Evan is attending MAMA really warms my heart. There’s been too many ppl that claim to be fans but turn to vote for bigger fanbases just because to them, being on winning side is more important than supporting the artist you truly admire and think deserves the award. Any EVER that has followed Evan along his soloist journey knows how much effort he put, how many days and nights he’s spent into releasing an album that is fully his. Even non-fans that has doubted him before all have amazing reviews on Death of Me. So i do not understand how exactly does some so-called fans claim that Evan doesn’t deserve to win a MAMA award? No matter if you were a jalnandan before, or you started stanning Evan after his solo debut, you would know that EVERs has NEVER had it easy. When Heeseung was a part of a group, we were manipulated into thinking we were selfish to vote for our bias for a solo award. After he went solo, all we faced were people saying “no idol has done better solo after they left the group” , Evan would be on boys planet soon, and people saying he can’t survive without “the boys” “his family”. Well that “family” has never publicly supported or even acknowledged him, while he has done both. In fact, when to outsiders we and that group are “sister fandoms” because in theory, they would support the member that everyone seemed to adore right? Well that’s ironic as they were the first to bully and start hate trains on Evan and EVERs. They hated and mocked his iPhone, his Rolex, his face, his brand deals, his skinny jeans (?!), his past illness. We had to endure all the stupid accusations, plus the anxiety of how the company would handle him as a solo artist. So I won’t count on the fans that claim to support both Evan and that group if they won’t even vote for Evan in even ONE category. My thoughts on this voting is simple. We are a smaller fandom compared to other contestants, so expecting mega hit tweets with tags and winning every single poll on that’s exists isn’t realistic. But we know damn well we have more than 500 active EVERs on twitter, if we can all engage and participate in voting and polls, even an extra 20 votes can make a difference, especially if you don’t have multiple devices. We may not have software engineers that can retrieve info from mnet, and accounts with millions of followers to push voting, but we have dedicated voting fanbases and fans in voting teams, and we have too many dedicated people that truly love and support and are willing to spend extra time to vote for the artist we adore and admire. So it doesn’t even matter whether he goes to the awards show or not, whether other fandoms make fun of us, support us or not, we are simply showing Evan that he has done an amazing job, and he deserves every award just as much as any group or artist. Evan mentioned in his vlog today that he’s found that EVERs show their love through action and not through just words, so let’s give it our all no matter the outcome!🥹 #EVAN #2026MAMAVOTE
