I sure hope @ehanford has read “The Dreamkeepers” from Dr. Ladson-Billings as part of her research for #SoldAStory2.
If ears wore socks then they’d get knocked right off after listening to my buddy Trent’s new audiobook The Richmond Way. apple.co/therichmondway

ALT Two books stacked on top of each other. The title of the book is, “The Richmond Way.” Text underneath the title reads, “The Unbelievable Season of a Football Underdog.” An illustration of a dog is underneath with text that reads, “A.F.C. Richmond.” At the bottom is the author’s name, “Trent Crimm.” On the side of the book cover is a black sticker that reads, “Ted Lasso Streaming on Apple TV.” The other side of the book has text that reads, “Exclusive Excerpt.”

RFK Jr: "A Democratic senator claimed it's mathematically impossible to have a drug drop by 600%. I said, 'Well, if the drug was $100 and it raises to $600, that would be a 600% rise. If it drops from $600 to $100, that's a 600% savings.'"

Factual and mathematical error
A 100% reduction means the entire original value is removed, resulting in a final amount of zero. It signifies complete elimination or a 100% discount, such as a price dropping from $600 to 0$
increase from $100 to $600 is 500% increase

A few new faces around here so let me reintroduce myself!
I’m Ellie, I’m a @Cambridge_Uni Mathematics Masters Graduate who loves sharing the beauty of mathematics and STEM.
I started my career in the space industry as a Space Systems Optimisation Engineer and later an Astrodynamics Software Engineer.
I then moved to Machine Learning and worked as an Engineer. And I’m starting a new chapter very soon which I can’t wait to share more details about 😉
Throughout that time I’ve been an avid mathematics and science communicator from the UK, sharing content online (i’m on all platforms). I also engage audiences through talks, public speaking, and other STEM outreach.
I use this space to show that education is for all and that there lies SO much beauty in mathematics and STEM, and I hope to share that through my outreach ☺️
