I like how Yugi immediately knows when someone else has another soul inside them, he’s way too used to ts

GX should’ve had a filler episode where Judai had to sing during a duel, but he was genuinely good at it cause his VA’s a singer

This is duel is basically ZEXAL characters playing Riding Duels, this isn’t something I realized I needed to see until now

The cancelled BZ ZEXAL dub is really interesting because it’s the only anime dub that I know of where the JP staff were directly overseeing it The voice director for the BZ dub said the JP staff hated the 4kids dubs, so they were probably scared of another situation like that

yeah. I think shadow realm is an interesting invention but a plethora of tonal changes and context shifts throughout all the dubs for the shows that make them unsuitable as adaptations for the source material. Wonder if it'd be different if that bang zoom dub for zexal released

Liking dubbed anime while being a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan sucks Cause whenever I watch another series I get a little jealous Most anime dubs are made with so much love for the source material while YGO’s dubs have been doing actual bullshit for 25+ years with no intention of changing 😭

Started reading the ZEXAL manga, I like these earlier chapters that are the same story as the anime I know it eventually switches to its own thing so I’m interested to see how it’ll play out

I never see people talk about this moment, but I think this is the first time it’s established that Ryo will stop respecting his opponents if he’s angry enough

It’s still crazy to me how they went out of their way to give Camula an amazing theme and then proceeded to not include it in any of the GX soundtrack releases

This interaction becomes interesting when you really think about it Like Asuka’s reaction here to learning that Sho’s relationship with Ryo is strained to the point of him feeling the need to treat someone he just met as his older brother It’s small but it sets up a lot
