It seems the only question about Qatar is whether Trump and Netanyahu needs a war before their elections (3 November and 27 October) to boost support, or afterwards to distract from bad results.
And that decides whether we don't go, or whether we potentially get stuck there.
As lots of people are asking: if MotoGP goes to Qatar, I’ll go. I definitely don’t think it’s wise for the series as a whole to be there, but I think I’m personally better equipped than most of the paddock to be there thanks to my unique personal experience of late.
