I’d also add to the good: The prices for food & retail items aren’t inflated. When you buy something from a local retailer at the airport, you’re paying the same price you’d get on the street in the city 👏 @slcairport
Since the SLC airport is now done, here’s my take on the good/bad as someone who has used it a few times a week for the last two-ish months: Good: Very clean Spacious/no congested corridors Good food options TSA is fast Nap pod place Very close to downtown Has transit

This is the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Wasatch County. Did you know that tax dollars are paying for yurts, ski racks, snow making equipment, ski patrol huts and more? This is allowed because the definition of public infrastructure has been changed in the Utah code to include privately owned buildings and facilities. This is the exploitation of the Utah tax payer. Follow for more details and a bill that will fix this in the 2027 session.

We’ve got a Big Sur-prise. 🌊✈️ New nonstop service from SLC to Monterey, California (MRY), takes off Dec. 19 with Delta! Whether you’re headed for the dramatic views of Big Sur, the charm of Carmel-by-the-Sea or a coastal getaway in Monterey, California’s Central Coast is about to get a whole lot closer. Now that’s what we call a shore thing. 😎

How can they justify leaving right now? Diesel costs just hit an all-time high. Our nation is at war. The bond market is quivering. The urgency of AI regulation has come to a critical moment. Congress should be working overtime. Instead Speaker Johnson sent them home. All to dodge one uncomfortable vote - much like his maneuvers last year to hold off the Epstein files. You don't have to be a Democrat to find that disgraceful. In less than seven weeks, Americans can change all this. 48 days to go.

Just watch the @RideUTA TRAX Blue lIne leave Salt Lake Central before FrontRunner riders had time to transfer only to have to wait for the red light at 300 North. Multiple riders were trying to push the button to open the door while it was stopped still at the platform.
