In all honesty, apart from Mathira residents and the Moi family, who knew Gachagua before Ruto brought him into the limelight? Mt. Kenya people don't love Gachagua, they are agitated with Ruto. Gachagua claiming to command 8 million votes is a political fantasy. That’s the card he intends to use to push Sifuna for the DP position. In Gachagua’s head, he’s bigger than every other opposition leader, so it’s either his way or the highway.
