Really just model effort. I rarely switch down to Sonnet 5.5 for anything, but I switch around the model effort of Opus 5.5 all the time. I feel like it gives me some level of control 🤣

In this particular case, I have a giant task that will span like 50 agents with tasks so I made it plan out each one and give it a story point complexity score!

Son of a bitch, Story Points are a surprisingly effective way for LLMs to evaluate scope and size of a task. Kinda cosmic if you think about it.

It's wild how "sorry I accidentally added that feature" is a common occurrence now.

Claude's building a basketball game for no reason and unprovoked this image just opened full screen on my computer. I think it's telling me something

If apple review times were hours instead of weeks I think the entire app store ecosystem would collapse overnight.

On three separate occasions on three separate unrelated game projects opus 5.5 has chosen the name "Wren" for the protagonist. That's my new em dash for slop games.

I hate deleting them because the content is so good but yeah, untenable 😂

The temp directory is the worst, especially when building games and it goes through its iteration loops. I built up nearly a TB of video on accident over the course of a week.

New on our Science Blog: designing protein binders against scorpion neurotoxins. Scorpions sting about 1.2m people every year, and antivenoms are often costly or in short supply. Claude has made an early step toward finding new treatments. anthropic.com/research/claud…
