He should be Rice’s back up and England should rotate nearly all positions during tournaments. It’s the only way that England can play a highly physical game (one of their strengths) consistently throughout tournaments played in hot weather.

I would personally also include a way for the club to reduce their punishment if the owners sell to someone that is not connected to them and never return (eg. reduce the years the club are unable to return to the PL from 10 to 5 years if the owners sell)

The only fair punishment would be to: - Strip all domestic titles from first charge until the punishment - Relegation (not sure where) - Unable to return to the PL for 5 - 10 yrs - No sales from any current players at club count towards future profits for PSR

Oh fair, no I don’t but I also don’t think the Ballon D’Or identifies the best player in the world. When Cristiano Ronaldo won it between 2010 and 2018, Messi was still the clear best player in the world.

I disagreed at the time that he was the third best player that season for Liverpool and obviously still hold that opinion. I also thought it was laughable that anyone thought he was one of the top 8 players that season in the league.

Don't often tweet about refs but thought that @Aimeekeir was impressive today refereeing the game between @corbytownfc and @doughboys_wtfc. Got the big decisions correct, maintained a level of control over the game whilst also allowing it to mostly flow. Could rise up the ranks.

I remember when he was getting shouts for being considered as player of the season when Liverpool won the title. Was baffling at the time. He was however a decent value signing when bought.
