Books 7 & 8 of Fantasy Faction's 30 books that I read (I read or tried reading at least 15-20%) are both DNF's for me personally. Thank you Miriam Yvette and Astrid V J for entering your books. I'm only 1 member of a team & my opinion doesn't necessarily reflect the whole team.
Thank you for @ATWitham for the ARC of The Crimes of Rooker Flynn. Am sick in bed but Rooker Flynn and Black Jack's misadventures kept me entertained immensely this afternoon. Loved the cast and the world you've created. Gorgeous cover as well.
a HUGE thanks to @fantasticphil for the book mail. I've read the version of both these books but they deserve to be in physical form on my bookshelf here in Aotearoa. EXTRA thanks for printing out the copy WIXON'S DAY especially.

ALT 2 Books by Phil Williams. Book on left "However Many May Die" & Book on right is "Wixon's Day"
ALT On the inside title page of However Many May Die is the inscription, "Dear Kerry, Welcome to the Blood Scouts" and the Phil Williams signature.
Thank you @KEAndrews95 - book finally arrived and I've added nameplate and stickers.
(another reason for loving your book was the naming a character Carlin - that is my daughter's name 😊)
We get the best books donated where I volunteer.
I Could Pee On This and other poems by Cats. 🐈🐱 - after a past week of crappy news and crappy people I needed this.
ALT Book called I COULD PEE ON THIS and other poems by cats
30% read of To Climates Unknown number by Arturo Serrano for #SPSFC3 & #teamspacegirls Though an intriguing plot this read like an Alternate History rather than anything SFF. Sadly I won't be moving it forward in the comp but will be reading it at a future date.
Just over 40% read of THE CEPH:REBORN by Matthew Poehler @PoehlerMatthew for #teamspacegirls This is definitely getting a YES from me for the next phase of #SPSFC3 The POV from the Celephods sold me immediately. 🐙🦑 as did the optimistic humans & first contact.
Reading GENEFIRE by James Flanagan @jimiflanUK for #SPSFC3 & #teamspacegirls Got to 50% as was totally engrossed. The 2 POVs, past & present work seamlessly together and the idea of sending warnings thru DNA is brilliant. Am definitely giving this a Y to move onto the next phase
Read for #SPSFC3 & #teamspacegirls Escaltion's sentence structure, grammer and prose had me bailing quite early.
🚩🚩 with the way women were portrayed in the part I did read. This is my personal opinion only but I won't be moving this forward.
