Ovis is a browser and phone client for herdr, for builders running coding agents like Claude Code and Codex on their computers.
It helps you keep work moving away from your desk by showing those same agent sessions as chat, with the live terminal a tap away. The agents keep running on your computer; Ovis connects to them.
Key features:
• Chat + terminal – read the agent’s conversation, then switch to the same pane’s live terminal when needed
• Tap-to-answer cards – respond to supported approvals, questions, and plan menus from your phone
• Push alerts – get notified when an agent needs input or finishes, even with the app closed
• Screenshot attachments – upload an image into the pane’s folder and insert its path into your message
• New worktrees – create a separate checkout from your phone and start another agent alongside the first

Ovis+herdr and ultra sub. Grok drives Cursor, but I’m planning to switch to that to control Herdr sessions. I think the Cursor team is really great at training models and delivering unique ideas, which is where I think X got real value. The IDE has a great UI/UX experience, but it feels more like the old way of doing things.

我觉得有 tailscale 就应该用这个工具来引入 remote-control 能力，就算不用 remote-control 能力，光用这个 WebUI 的体验也比原生 herdr 更好

自建 headscale 的话，多一些步骤，在跑 WebUI 服务的机器上用 Caddy 和 Certbot 搞私有证书，把根证书装手机上之后，手机上就可以正常装 PWA 了。以前很麻烦，但现在有 AI 大人，其实也就多 10 分钟的工夫。

How's the revamped UI in v0.4.12 working out for everyone?
I'm currently refactoring the codebase using Poteto's skills, and I've also started working on a native app to make Herdr even more accessible.
