Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced that the fatal police shooting of 1-year-old Kohen Wiley was "justified," meaning the involved officer will not face criminal charges.
The tragedy occurred on June 14, 2026, in a Senatobia Walmart parking lot during a police response to a shoplifting call.
State authorities claim the officer fired because the driver drove toward police and nearly struck an officer.
In contrast, the child's family denies shoplifting or driving at police, stating the mother held the baby up to show officers a child was inside.
Civil rights attorney Ben Crump heavily criticized the ruling and demanded the immediate public release of body-camera and surveillance footage

This crazy war Ashley Moody signed off on is costing us nearly $2 BILLION A DAY, while everyday Floridians are struggling just to pay rent and put food on the table.
But don't worry, y'all. Ashley’s wealthy friends and donors are doing just fine.

We will keep showing up and having our voices heard on this important issue AND that’s why we are taking our fight to rein in data centers and the billionaires who build them to the US Congress.

Ilhan Omar thanks her supporters for the first time since the search of her Washington DC home:
"I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support to everyone who sent a note of support, and for everyone who sent $5, $10, or $20. That goes a long way as we fight against these intimidation tactics. We are not going to be intimidated, we are not going to be silenced, and we are not going to be scared. We will keep campaigning to win the midterms and hold this administration accountable." #Ilhanomar #USA
Let us support congresswoman Omar. She’s a Muslim and she’s a black woman.. She has done nothing wrong.. They cannot target the people in the Jeffrey Epstein file the rich and powerful with privilege.. but less target and abuses a black woman.
