Don't take NBA dot com's matchup data as gospel, but it has Michael Porter Jr. as only getting 3 points and 1 shot attempt when guarded by Baylor Scheierman last night. In particular, I thought Scheierman did a good job of denying MPJ off the ball, forcing the Nets to look elsewhere.

“I’ve always cared about you… but in a f*cked up way. Not in the way your grandmother cares about you” — Joe Mazzulla to Baylor Scheierman 😂

Baylor Scheierman has untapped creation potential… Looks strong. Off the bounce jumpers, big-bodied closeout kills, creative top-of-key stationary passer, connective feel/vision, 4.3 AST/g in 19 MPG in the preseason. Excited to watch his role blossom.

There are lots of ways to possession max. Here's one of them: the offensive glass.

A quintessential Baylor Scheierman sequence: - Recovers his own blocked shot - BTB assist to Cenac - Defensive rebound - Loses his shoe - Puts it back on just in time to grab an off. rebound and feed Gonzalez

Baylor Scheierman ➡️ Chris Cenac Jr. Behind-the-back pass off the deflection. Two-hand slam. Chris Cenac Jr. gets on the board in style in his NBA preseason debut with the Celtics!

Wedding season for our family is always such a joy. A few weeks back, we celebrated @lordjord21 and @mollyjhanse amazing day. An entire town essentially shut down to witness their dream wedding. Lincoln’s perseverance and story is inspiring & we are so proud of who he is today!
