Day 1284. I am in the heaviest battle of Pokrovsk, Donetsk, East Ukraine.
This is my combat gear and my weapon. It does not shoot, but it delivers A LOT of pain to Russian invaders. With this weapon, they have nowhere to hide.
I am Ukrainian Soldier. That’s what I go through 🧵
Big history behind Iryna - all the units we have supported so much - and even became friends with them.
This is historical - our mission in this war is huge.
That's the bait. On Thursday I'm publishing a video about the trap, and why they keep walking into our drones: youtube.com/@LiberUkraine
Russian FPV drone found by Ukrainian soldiers next to a frontline road. Painted yellow, covered in autumn leaves, even the fiber-optic spool.
It lands, kills the motors and waits for a car. No radio signal, so EW can't see it.
From 2 meters you can spot it. From 5 meters you can't.

Most people see this war in 10-second clips.
On my YouTube I explain what's behind them: how 3 strikes took 78% of Yandex Cloud offline, why russian soldiers keep walking into our drones, how we launch drones from balloons.
Almost at 5K. Come along 🫡

The only way to achieve peace in Ukraine is to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We have almost closed this fundraiser for my FPV guys in the regiment - so that they have generators, power stations and Starlinks before the winter. Thank you for all the support!
If you want to make a tangible step towards peace, please do support this fundraiser - so we can delete russian invaders!

Huge support enabled by your donations for Air Assault Forces in Ukraine!
Over $80K in equipment was delivered to the drone pilots of the 25th Airborne Brigade "Sicheslav".
Our "25th Strike" project is complete. We raised $80,209, spent $81,619, and covered the brigade's full request: 30 Starlink Minis, 2 Marena DK-2 UAVs, an EW station, 8 inverter generators, 4 EcoFlow Delta 2, a Motorola radio, and 188 drone components and batteries.
Very strong of Ukrainian resilience today.
Good read for you.
“For my leg. From Zebra.”
That’s the message a Ukrainian soldier wanted written on a long-range strike drone before it flew its mission against Russia.
Her name is Yuliia Fedina, callsign Zebra. She serves with Ukraine’s 20th Separate Unmanned Systems @usf_army Brigade “K-2” @k_2army, a unit specializing in drone warfare.
Earlier this year, Zebra lost her right foot during a combat mission. Despite her injuries, she managed to apply a tourniquet and reach shelter. A fellow soldier was wounded too.
Surgeries followed. Then a prosthetic leg, months of rehabilitation, and a return to military service.
In June, Ukraine’s President awarded her the Order for Courage, 3rd Class.
But here’s where the story takes an unexpected turn.
In September, another Ukrainian unit — the 413th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment “Raid” @Raid_413, which specializes in drone operations — urgently needed 90,000 hryvnias (around $2,200) to repair its vehicles.
They launched a fundraiser with a twist: every 100 UAH donated bought one chance to choose a message to be written on a Ukrainian Fire Point long-range strike drone.
Zebra donated 20,000 UAH (around $500).
And won.
Her message was just five words:
“For my leg. From Zebra.”
The drone took off carrying her words.
And the commanders of both units — Yevhen Karas of the 413th Regiment and Kyrylo Veres of the K-2 Brigade — joined the long-range strike crew in recording a personal video to thank her for her courage and support.
A Ukrainian soldier who lost her foot fighting Russia helped another Ukrainian unit get its vehicles back on the road.
And they found a way to thank her.
Two units. One unexpected connection. And a message Russia was never supposed to miss.

Unexpected side effect of Ukraine hitting Yandex data centers.
A lot of the world's bot traffic ran on russian servers. Yandex's own bot and crawler traffic dropped almost to zero.
My replies have way fewer russian bots this week. Have you noticed it too?
Best spam filter ever made 🫠
The whole data center war, explained by a Ukrainian soldier and ex software architect:

It’s insane.
Trump never stepped a foot in Ukraine, JFYI.
To honor all the newly appointed Ukraine experts who say Ukraine is doomed, I want to present you this legendary take.
It was really a mainstream belief in 2022 that it is over for Ukraine.
5 years later, we still stand, take ground, destroy targets 2000km deep into Russia 😎
Since a lot of you are seeing this: I am @dim0kq, soldier in Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces.
I write about drone warfare from inside it, about how this war is changing, and about the people fighting it. Follow if you want that in your feed.
