Why they are mischaracterizing Evangeline's character??? Like genuinely for who??? They can love the fox and sympathize with her without trying to drag the MAIN CHARACTER. The fox has no importance or role except being the first person who died and jacks killed.

Trying to make the fox and jacks relationship more than already is isn't going to work because yes it goes back to the fact that he was cursed before meeting her and she died because he didn't love her. That's their dynamic whether you like it or not.
