My name's Rem Imaginis
I'm a Ripponian (a hybrid creature made for multiversal travel. I'm a Fennec Fox/Kangaroo/Silk Moth).
I love building things and travelling the multiverse.
I'd share more, but I think it'd be best to have some more writing space for all that ^~^

I work in financial crime, and there are significant problems with treating “just get a credit card” as a reasonable solution to age verification. I’m particularly conscious of the financial and consumer-risk implications of making a credit card the sole means of age verification.
Requiring age verification is one thing; making a credit card the sole method is another. Many Australian adults, myself included, deliberately do not hold consumer credit products. I have a Visa debit card; I do not have a credit card, and I do not want to open a credit facility or a Buy Now Pay Later account for the unrelated purpose of proving that I’m over 18.
Applying for credit isn’t a financially neutral act, particularly for people seeking home finance: the application appears on your credit file and available card limits can factor into borrowing-capacity assessments.
The Australian age-assurance framework does NOT mandate credit cards specifically. They’re one of several permissible methods.
Age verification may be required, but requiring adults to take out a financial product they neither need nor want should not be the price of accessing age-restricted content. There need to be reasonable alternative verification methods.
P.S. I just tried with my Visa debit card and got auto-rejected. So, there’s that 🤷♀️

So... I enjoyed the chapter 5 secret boss a bit too much...
Anyways, mouse cursor! how's it look?
Since this is about one of my close friends, I can comment better on this!
The artist demanded extra money from her after 6 months, and when she declined the client used paypal for a refund. (1/3)

I can understand being in a hard position, but retroactively asking someone to pay more money for something you haven't finished, refusing to let them get a refund, and then proceeding to make artwork of that character after explicitly being told not to, is not ok.
If U wanna read up on the clients side btw, she's on BSky ^^

Toby Fox: Writing is both made to be thematically relevant to themes, and a good arcing story
Vivsiepop: I made OCs and I'm playing Barbie with them
Gooseworx: Themes, but also "you know what would be fucked up?"
Scott: I know we 5 games in but it'd be cool if we did this instead
TADC EP 8 SPOILERS
I shared this on my BSky, but Caine getting killed WASN'T caused by Kinger fat-fingering the delete key! Looking through the console logs, it seems something else really wanted Caine dead.
Underneath ill post the end of the console logs, transcribed

*Kinger tries to use a Rollback command*
Then the WACKYWATCH LOCKOUT finishes loading and Caine dies
It's a cool addition, I like what kind of stuff it opens up, but...
Recently minecraft updates have been too out-of-the-way. Like, the casual minecraft player in survival would probs only wander into the sulfer caves and kill the slimes and thats it.
Get ready for the first look at Chaos Cubed!
New sulfur caves are calling… but don’t get too comfortable. Step too close and your world might start to warp.
Plus, meet the sulfur cube, a mob that evolves based on what it absorbs. Wood, ice, and beyond… the possibilities are endless!
