Annoyed by the long lines voting in Alabama tomorrow? That's by design. You are a victim of voter suppression.
Alabama is 1 of only 3 states with NO early voting. The people in power don't want max turnout, because if everyone votes, they lose.

Madison County, AL, which is larger and but whiter than Montgomery not listed there for reasons iβm sure are cool and normal.
Trump's Justice Department announced it is sending about 1,000 "election monitors" to polling places in all 50 states

#sorrynotsorry for spamming about elections lol but Alabamaβs grassroots movements that have tirelessly worked to increase the amount of voting locations and access for minority communities (both urban and rural counties) in CRAZILY gerrymandered districts cannot be undervalued
young voters have also HEAVILY contributed to huge shifts in voting trends in AL (my jaw dropped seeing this statewide, no county being >11 points)
despite all the slander from in and out of state they receive, Gen Z would actually like their state to be livable

legitimately me watching georgia and both carolinas flip from alabama
Whatβs crazy is the amendments proposed on the Alabama ballot are things that the Supreme Court already deemed unconstitutional decades ago, but Republicans in AL rely so much on lack of education that theyβre creating nothingburger legal battles already lost 50 years ago.

Thank you, New Mexico! It is the honor of my lifetime to be elected your 33rd Governor.
Tonight, you made history. You chose a future where New Mexico comes first, where working families have a chance to get ahead, and where every New Mexican has a voice.
I know the challenges ahead are real. But I also know that New Mexicans have never backed down from a fight β and we are going to tackle these challenges together.
Whether you voted for me or not, I will always be your Governor, too. Because this campaign was about all of us, and the future we deserve.
Letβs keep New Mexico, New Mexico. Letβs build a brighter future for our families. And letβs get to work.
Oh my god please just make the UAB students count the votes in Jefferson County this is taking way too long

Aggressive reminder marginalized communities in red states are working their ASSES off to make these flips happen. Through egregious gerrymandering and all. Do not fix your mouths to bash these states tonight because YOU live somewhere else.
