If stretching doesn’t help you heal hurt tissue… Why would stretching help you prevent tissue injuries?
The answer to lowering injury risk has always been based on actually stimulating structural changes from resistance training.
You need to load the body to reinforce it.

If you’re looking for greater acceleration…Box Squat.
Teaching the body to go from 0-100 with external load is the key.
A proper box squat does that better than any other squat variation I have found.

Your hardest working athletes will struggle the most with the concept of rest.
They’ve been conditioned, and validated to go as hard as possible.
It’s important to remind them that in order to ascend faster, they must give themselves enough rest between sets, and sessions.

Multiple DB Jumps done consecutively does not deliver the same stimulus as Max Effort singles.
It robs optimal Power output as the Velocities drop every rep as you become fatigued.
The load slows you down too much for reactive qualities to be developed.
Just do Singles.

No athlete has ever improved a skill by being punished with running.
Skills improve through intentional, task-specific training. Punishing an entire team with running only creates a negative association with it while doing nothing to correct the actual issue.
Our grandson, Luca Jay turned one year today October 20th. Our daughter/his Mom and Dad had a birthday party for him on Sunday at the Allen Park ice arena near their home. It was so much! He just makes me laugh! #LITTLEMAN!
We recently took our grandson, Luca Jay to the Erie Orchard with our daughter Sarah and her husband Adam. It was so much fun! He has impacted more than I thought was possible! What a blessing he is! He turns one year on October 20th.
My oldest brother Bill(12 years older than me) was inducted into the Kappa Sigma fraternity Hall of Fame. What is truly impressive, is that he graduated from high school with a 2.1 GPA. The Catholic school he attended told my parents he wasn't "college material".

Unless your injury prevention program is making you brutally strong… It ain’t preventing any injuries.
Your only defense to Injury is high levels of Strength and proper load management.
Most of these “Injury Prevention” programs are just bad Strength programs marketed well.
Left is day one of cutting down tree branches in our yard. And right is day two of cutting down trees and tree branches in our yard. Maybe hiring it out to the pros is the better decision?
