Cathie Wood just explained why the establishment will never stop coming for Elon Musk.
And the reason is worse than they think.

They didn’t forget. You don’t forget thirty years of marching and petitioning and begging for the machine that saves the planet.
Someone built it. Forced every automaker on Earth to follow.
Then they turned on him the moment he delivered exactly what they asked for.
Not because he failed them. Because he made them unnecessary.
A solved problem is an existential threat to every institution built to solve it. Kills the funding. Kills the committee. Kills every career that exists to manage the crisis rather than end it.
Wood: “I think he’s the Thomas Edison of our age… he wants to do the right thing to transform the lot of most of humanity.”
Edison was hated too. By the people who sold candles. Every revolution looks like an attack to the people it makes obsolete.
Wood: “What we learn about material science and technologies… is going to help us here on Earth as well.”
SpaceX is not an escape. It is a forge. Build under the most brutal conditions in the solar system and every breakthrough comes home.
Most people at his level stop building and start protecting what they have.
Musk picks the hardest unsolved problem on Earth and runs straight at it.
That is not what terrifies them. What terrifies them is he does it without their funding, without their approval, without a single thing they can hold over his head.
A man you cannot buy is a man you cannot control. And a man you cannot control who keeps solving the problems you profit from is the most dangerous human alive.
They will spend their careers trying to tear him down.
Their grandchildren will live in the world he built anyway.

I decided to drive downtown Montreal and park my Cybertruck on Crescent Street. Which is one of the most happening streets in Montreal. In light of the recent protest against Tesla, I decided to conduct a little experiment. Not as scientific as @MarkRober , but yet a good indication of what’s going on in the real world. Despite what we’re reading on social media, TSLA is not hated by the majority. From my own experience, TSLA Cybertruck is actually loved and adored by passer buyers. Approximately 10% of passer buyers took out their camera I wanted to take pictures saying how cool it looks.
I was able to witness the entire affair from a terrace directly across from where my Cybertruck was parked.
Based on my experiment, the majority of people do not care about politics and simply appreciate things that look cool and badass. 😎

I’m officially joining the @Tesla family 🥹 I stand firmly behind @elonmusk & this is my personal story of why.
Elon probably doesn't even know any of this himself. I am a nobody on this platform. Just a mom from the Midwest who came to *Twitter* looking for C-19 truths hoping to save my own life when everything else was censored & false.
When I became injured, I was being relentlessly hounded & bullied by corporate attorneys. They were demanding all sorts of stuff on X that I could not possibly provide amongst other things. I made a post here desperate for help. I was scared & running out of time with their deadlines. All of the attorneys in my state I contacted were blacklisting me as to not wanting to set precedent that would harm their other wealthy clients.
One day I checked my email and there was a message from a lovely attorney saying he was asked to reach out to me on behalf of Elon and @X . They set up meeting & were so unbelievably kind & told me not to worry. After hearing my story, they said they could not help me with my specific type of case but gave me a reference to one near me who could. I then contacted that attorney who graciously accepted my case pro-bono & said that nobody should have to worry about her health, suffering as well as financial ruin & losing the ability to fight legally in other causes of action just because someone else has more money & influence than I do.
It was the kindest thing that anyone has done for me. Because of Elon & his dedication to his mission & surrounding himself with others that truly BELIEVE in his values, I am able to continue to fight to try to *hopefully* find new legal resources to get help for everyone injured. Not just myself.
My job failed me. My government failed me. My political party attacked me & friends disowned me. All because I got injured. The one person who did NOT fail me & had ZERO reason help me, was Elon Musk.
You can lie about him. You can call him names. You can attack him. However, when I was drowning the only one who threw me a life preserver to keep fighting was Elon Musk.
So I purchased my first Tesla today because I can now be independent because the FSD features will be life changing for my hearing & vision disabilities. We don’t have cabs or ride shares where I live.
I know that my child & my pets are safest in a Tesla because Elon genuinely cares about the wellbeing of humans & animals. I will hold my Tesla stock with honor & ride out this war with him because he has proven he is a man of his word.
I will continue to fight with & fight for Elon Musk & all of his future endeavors. I hope you will as well. 🇺🇸

The attacks against Tesla started in 2018 / 2019.
We were told that it was because of the Model 3 being a fraud, and that Tesla was going to go bankrupt. That media and short sellers had to smear the company to stop investors from losing money.
Against all odds, they survived and barely managed to eke out a profit. That’s when the government told them to shut their factories down, because of the pandemic.
Elon couldn’t let them destroy the company he had just saved, so he stood up. He said come and arrest me. That was a big part of when they started branding him as the enemy.
The next year Biden took office, but this time Tesla was evil because it wasn’t a union shop. They excluded Tesla from the EV summit and tried to exclude them from the EV tax credit too.
At this point Elon had had enough. He got those idiots thrown out of office.
Since then their subtle digs at Tesla have escalated into violent attacks, protests, death threats against Elon, and even attacks on random customers.
They don’t have to be subtle or hide their hate anymore. They want to destroy the most important company of our time.
Thank god these idiots are no longer in office.
