When I visited the KC Chiefs weight room, they had a dumbbell rack that only Mahomes and the other quarterbacks used.
They're called Fatbells and the argument is that because the weight is evenly distributed around the hand instead of on either end, they "reduce shearing forces and adds more load distribution on muscle and connective tissue."
At that level of sport, they're looking for every competitive advantage possible.
Their other dumbbell rack was from Black Iron Strength with fat grip handles.
A Ngong road derby for the ages! as @Nondies took on the @KenyaHarlequins in the #Floodlit43 semi-final. The Harlequins stung early and staved off a possible Nondies comeback to seal the finals slot.
