At about 8:15 a.m. today, a federal judge denied McAllen City Commissioner Rodolfo "Rudy" Castillo's motion to dismiss the federal criminal case against him #rgv
Castillo is charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, smuggling goods from the United States and conspiracy to commit money laundering.
His wife faces additional charges related to hiring people who lacked permission to work in the United States.
