Additionally, being separated just for all the solo-ness in parenting at times gets to me and I have mad respect for those that have been single parents for longer than I have 💪❤️
On hour 2 and some odd minutes of making the wig for the costume my daughter is wearing for Halloween, and I suddenly have so much more appreciation for all the hours my mom put in on creative projects for me and my brother growing up.

Just wanted to say hi! I’m sorry there wasn’t a takeover last week! I don’t think there will be this one either, but I’ll let you know if that changes! I will for sure be having one next week though, and I can’t wait to hang with ya’ll! -Dan 🤘❤️🤘

saying this allll the time when people ask me what to buy. It's still a gamble! Just make sure you're having fun, ABOVE all. Of course we all want a nice return too, there's no denying that. But i have opened "better" boxes and had so-called bad pulls. I've also pulled a solid 1/1 from a low-end product, so...
friendly reminder that just because your specific hobby box wasn't great doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad product. Some products are bad rips, yes, and sometimes you just get a bad box of a good product. There is a massive difference.

I assume he’s in the ring, but the church kid in me can’t help but see the altar call vibes in this photo 🤣

Story Time: October will always be special to me when it comes to stack selling on Twitter/X. And honestly, it should be pretty special to a lot of you who jumped in from Day 1 eight years ago. Right around this time in 2018, I was trying to figure out what the hell I was going to do with all these cards. About two years earlier, I’d walked away from an eBay store with well over 10,000 feedback (still have it), but I still had plenty of cards and still loved going to card shows. I just wasn’t really sure what was next. I don’t even know what I was doing on Twitter in the first place, but I came across @dmntakeover and his stack sales. I immediately knew that with the inventory I had—and the prices I was able to buy cards for—I could move cards on Twitter. So thanks for that, Dan. I think I ran a couple giveaways and then did my first stack sale sometime around the middle of October. How do I know it was a Tuesday night? I was sitting in the parking lot of the senior center while my daughter was at Girl Scouts, loading up posts for the sale. 😂 That stack sale brought another stack sale, which brought the subscription run, which became Brick Elite. Then came the Battle Royal Rumble. 12 Days of Bricksmas. Bricktoberfest. And here we are, getting ready to roll out Bricktoberfest 3 this Sunday. It’s been a pretty damn good run. I came into this game with what I thought was the best product at the best prices. Then 2020–21 happened and cards went absolutely insane. You know who kept their prices flat for the community when there was clearly an opportunity to charge more? This guy. 😂 And here we are again. The hobby is booming. I’m seeing cards sell for 4–5x what I’d probably sell the same card for. At some point, the average collector is going to get priced out of parts of this hobby. Well, not if I can help it. Outside of X National—which I absolutely love—I haven’t been active since May. And honestly, this summer I had a lot going on. I had to work. I had to be a husband. I had to be a father. But there was also a lot of beach time. Walks. Sporting events. Cookouts. Day trips. Concerts. Life. And while I was doing all of that, I was also buying a LOT of cards. A LOT of cards. As you can see from all those boxes, I went from dumping everything in March to creating this monstrosity. 😂 every purchase I made this summer was made with you guys in mind. With the idea of recreating the Brick Elite Card Club of old. Cards are still booming. And I kept asking myself: If I can give you guys access to the best variety of $0.25, $0.50, $1, $2…all the way up to $10 cards, would people still be interested? I kept telling myself yes. So I kept buying more. And more. And more. And here we are. Almost four months removed from my last real stack sale, and now I’m wondering… Is the Brick Squad even relevant anymore? Well… Screw it. Let’s run it back. For old time’s sake. Starting this Sunday. We’ll see where it goes. I’ve got close to 2,500 cards ready for the weekend, and I’m hoping things go well enough that we can start stacking again on a regular basis. But I need your help. Starting tomorrow, I think we’re going to have to run a few giveaways. Turn those notifications on. Put it on your calendar. Sunday. October 11. 8 PM EST. And if you’re still here after all these years… come see me. Go liquidate some crypto and come see me Sunday. 😂 Brick Elite is back. 🧱

I had someone question me on if I get to pocket the extra 50 cents when I raised s&h from $4.50 to $5. Nope 😅 Honestly I pay out of pocket when I ship out on Twitter sales even at the lowest of ounces, but I think it’s crazy the shipping prices that buyers have to pay, so as long as I can reasonably function, it feels right to me to try and tail behind the cost.
This was a 3oz. bubble mailer going 500 miles Bro…

Alright my friends! That's all for today! Thank you SO much for the hangs! And now, as always, enjoy 10% off all remaining cards for cleanup! Have an AWESOME rest of your day! -Dan
