Shohei Ohtani will be placed on the disabled list with a grade 2 sprain of the UCL. He underwent a PRP and Stem Cell injection yesterday with Dr. Steve Yoon in Los Angeles. He will be re-evaluated in 3 weeks and we will update his plan of care at that time.

From the Angels: Shohei Ohtani had his 6 week re-evaluation today with Dr. Steve Yoon at the Kerlan Jobe Institute. His ligament continues to show improved healing. He has been medically cleared to begin a throwing progression.

Mike Trout was seen by Dr. Steve Yoon this morning in Los Angeles. Imaging reveals a reduced amount of swelling to the groin. Mike also reports daily improvement. He will continue treatment in Anaheim and he will be re-evaluated on Sunday. We will provide an update at that time.
