The Indie Games VN Awards debuted in 2025 with the aim of creating a dedicated platform to recognize the efforts of Vietnamese game developers, studios, and individual creators.
With over 523,000 views, hundreds of votes, and the support of numerous partners, streamers, and the community, it became clear to us just how eagerly anticipated this event truly is.
Today, Indie Games VN is proud to announce the Indie Games VN Awards 2026 - the second season dedicated to the Vietnamese indie game community. We are applying the lessons learned from our inaugural year to make this season even more complete, accessible, and worthy of the titles being honored.
Details regarding award categories, the nomination timeline, and the submission process will be announced soon. Whether you are actively developing a game, nurturing a project, or simply a fan of Vietnamese indie games, get ready, because this season belongs to all of us.

Indie Games VN (IGVN) announces the opening of trailer submissions for the World Premiere category at IGVN Awards 2026.
The World Premiere category is designed to give Vietnamese indie games an official platform to debut their trailers before the local gaming community.
This is an opportunity for developers to bring their projects closer to the Vietnamese gaming audience.
Eligibility requires the game to be planned for release in 2027 and to have at least one completed trailer. The submission period will remain open for 2 months from the date of this announcement.
Full submission guidelines and the registration form are available on the official IGVN Awards website.

Not being on Steam Deck and Steam Machine is fine (and kinda understandable in a way). The problem is how it ran terribly even on above average Windows PC.
Marvel Tokon is seeing mass refund and scathing reviews. It looks to be failing
This is the Sony curse now that touches any exclusive game.
The game NEEDS to work on SteamOS so we can play it on Steam Machine and Steam Deck. But it seems @PlayStation and @MARVELTokon don’t care about us gamers.
Tried the demo and I like Marvel Tokon very much! The only problem stopping me from pre-ordering the game is that my laptop can not handle it (super lag) and it is not running on Steam OS device because of the anti cheat. Let's see if I change my mind upon release.
Since everyone is hyping this up, I’m just over here hoping for a role rebalance! I’d love to see some Duelists with Tank or Support tendencies fully embrace those traits and officially switch roles. For example: Storm to Support, and Mr. Fantastic tank.

Marvel Tokon's is currently facing a problem! Due to the requirement of a PSN account on PC, the game is currently UNAVAILABLE to be purchased and played in over 130 Countries on Both Steam And Epic Games!
This is a HUGE detriment to the games playerbase and does nothing but harm the game overall! We as a playerbase and plaform have the chance to let our voices be heard and attempt to let @PlayStation know that this NEEDS to change if they want the game to succeed! As i've said previously, this decision is NOT an Arcsystemworks issue, its a Playstation issue through and through!
Below this post i'll be linking a video by the homie SSK talking about the Limit Issue, as well as a Petition made by C4 in order to spread the word more! I love Marvel Tokon! I WANT this game to played by everyone, but as it stands that's an imposibility, unless we try and make a change!

Managed to spend my half-day gathering data for my research, a quiet moment before the game research lounge fills up with students.
With data collection & app dev largely mostly finished, it’s time to start the writing phase, all while finish prepping next semester’s classes.
I think the reason Xbox and PlayStation go back to console exclusives is because of Steamdeck. It blurred the line between PC and console, which makes them very uncomfortable.
