Coming into this game, Vikings pass catchers dropped 12% of JJ McCarthy passes -- the highest % in the NFL. Three more drops in the 1st quarter today. One cost the Vikings a TD. Another cost the Vikings a possession.

It's not every day you can lead an ESPN morning show with the term "peed down his leg," but today was that day. And Sam Darnold dug himself out of a major hole to avoid hearing that narrative for the next several weeks. Darnold looked darkness in the eyes and rose above.
