Tonight brings us to our 3rd year, Infinite Recharge! While we were not able to attend an in-person competition due to COVID-19 restrictions, we were still able to create an amazing robot which was fully completed well before the end of build season!
In 2020, we also focused on FLL mentoring as well as showcasing our robot, Minnie, to various elementary schools! ❤️🤖💙 #firstlikeagirl #firstroboticscompetition #rapidreact #FRC #FIRSTinspires
Today we’re going to explore the stars with Deep Space! During that season, we won the Chairmans Award, qualifying us for the FIRST World Championship. We also helped with SeaPerch mentoring (which involved one of our students jumping into water 😉),
FLL mentoring, and we even competed in the National Underwater Robotics Challenge (NURC)!❤️🤖💙 #firstlikeagirl #firstroboticscompetition #FRC
Four more days until Kickoff! Today, we’re going back to 2018 with FIRST Power Up! During that season we qualified for the World Championship by earning the Engineering Inspiration Award at the AZ West Regional!
We also started our Train the Trainer program where we helped elementary school teachers learn how to become FLL mentors, assisted QC Dog Squad, and helped support Destination College for the first time! ❤️🤖💙 #firstroboticscompetition #firstrobotics #firstlikeagirl
A few weeks ago, we participated in a toy hackathon that was hosted by our big sister team, Desert WAVE. Adapting the toys allows them to be more accessible to children with disabilities. Last Friday, the team went to a local school, ACCEL, to drop off the adapted toys.
Happy #safetysaturday !! We’ll convince them so be safe! (Someday) ❤️🤖💙#frcmemes #frc #FIRST #firstrobotics
#safetysaturday is back!! The good news is, we haven’t had to use a bandaid in two years. The bad news, we hadn’t checked our safety kit in two years (although everything that needed to be replaced is in fact replaced!) ❤️🤖💙#frcmemes #firstroboticscompetition #frc
Our electrical team has some creative artists on their team! It’s un-boo-lievable how many ghosts they’re able to make! ❤️🤖💙
Had an amazing time yesterday at AZ states! It was great to have our new members get a feel as to what it’s like to be at a competition! Great job to everyone who went and thank you to all the volunteers! ❤️🤖💙 #firstlikeagirl #FIRSTrobotics #frc
pov: you’re a student watching your team mates and mentors get ready for a competition that’s on Saturday! 😁❤️🤖💙#firstlikeagirl #frc #firstrobotics
This past friday we had the opportunity to host an information meeting for new students! They got to tour around the stem center along with get a presentation!! We can’t wait for this new season! ❤️🤖💙 #frc #firstfrc #first #firstlikeagirl
