BREAKING: Nigeria: A Christian mother, Liatu Samuel Dawa, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the “crime” of evangelism. Liatu shared her faith with a woman in Borno State who later converted to Christianity. For that, Liatu is now behind bars and her family in hiding after Muslims threatened their lives. The judge, A.B. Kumdila, imposed the harsh sentence. This ruling is a gross miscarriage of justice. The disgraceful action must be overturned and Liatu immediately returned safely to her family. Free Liatu Dawa.

Nigeria is a country of magnificent contradictions. So funny that sometimes I see myself thinking and laughing and cursing about it alone. You say you don’t want open defecation. But there are no public toilets. You say you are fighting crime. But you are impoverishing the citizens. There’s a Yoruba adage I heard from one of the people I respect so much. Dele Farotimi. “Rationality ends where hunger begins.” You say you want an educated population. But tens of millions of children are out of school, the ones inside school are learning with textbooks and curriculum older than their teachers, and the universities go on strike so often that students now budget for it. You say you want foreign investment. But your power supply is a joke, your roads are an assault course, your ports are a bureaucratic nightmare, and your policies change faster than an investor can land at the airport. You say you are fighting corruption. But the men doing the prosecuting are the same ones who need to be prosecuted. Imagine a goat leading a protest to protect yams. You say you want a healthy nation. But public hospitals have no drugs, no equipment, and no reliable light. Majority of our doctors are in London and Houston because you gave them no reason to stay. You say you respect human rights. But your police force is a threat assessment, not a reassurance. They have placed themselves in the same category as bandits. You say you want national unity. But every four years you set ethnicity and religion on fire and use it as campaign fuel. You say you want to reduce road accidents but you allow importation of fake vehicle products. Our roads are death traps, and Road Safety Corps are paid so little to enforce rules that they now depend on bribes. You say you are promoting made-in-Nigeria goods. But government officials shop abroad. The president and all his cabinet members and governors are the biggest customers of foreign made cars and even office furnitures. Government contracts go to foreign companies, and the naira you devalued makes local production nearly impossible. You say you want to stop flooding. But you approve buildings on drainage channels, sell land in floodplains, and have never completed a single major drainage project in any major city. You say you want to develop agriculture. But farmers are being killed on their own land and nobody is in prison for it. You say you want to grow tourism. But your visa process is an ordeal, your heritage sites are abandoned, and your airports look like bus parks. You say you want to fix unemployment. But your graduates spend years chasing NYSC postings, then spend more years chasing jobs that do not exist in an economy that produces nothing. You say you want press freedom. But journalists investigating the wrong people develop strange accidents. Social media critics are picked everyday and are only produced in court after weeks of protest. You say you want to stop brain drain. But you do everything possible to make staying in this country an act of suffering. See eh, our problem is not spiritual. We are just a country on a self-destructive mission. -KAA #kaa_truths

I just saw this VIDEO from @iamayolawal narrating Tinubu’s failures and my anger grew more intense. This video is enough to spark a revolution in Nigeria, but I wish Nigerians were ready! Pls, let’s make this go VIRAL!✍️

Nasir El-Rufai put out a tweet saying "Boko Haram is a Christian organisation" and accused Goodluck Jonathan of sponsoring Bokk Haram to reduce the population of Muslims in the north. This is the man you are even listening to on social media and allowing to rebrand???? 🤮 🤮

Everyday they wake up and talk about Arsenal this, Arsenal that. Why can’t they also talk about Tottenham and Manchester United who are battling relegation or Chelsea who spent a billion and have nothing to show for it or Manchester City who are having a disastrous season? #ad
Moving in the wrong direction 😬 Are Arsenal regressing under Mikel Arteta this season? 📉

Pathetic, Arsenal. How can you lose at home to a team that has 10 men for that long? So long as Havertz is our main striker, we have zero chance of winning any big trophies. He was abysmal today. If Arteta doesn’t buy big this window, incl a top striker. our season is over.

Theo Walcott: “With Arsenal, at this moment in time, what worries me is they’re getting excited by set-pieces all the time, instead of that free-flowing football — that’s what Arsenal is known for, they’re shying away from it.” 🎥 @SkyFootball

It really feels like Arsenal could play for about five hours tonight and they wouldn't even hit the target, let alone score.

Have I really crossed the line? I ask the question because my New Year message has now led to threats against my life, my family, and those around me. While I have received all sorts of messages, one Mr. Felix Morka has gone further to accuse me of "crossing the line" and has warned that I will face the consequences. I find it necessary to share this message again and urge everyone who has not seen it to watch: youtube.com/watch?v=waGknJG2… If I have truly crossed the line, I invite anyone to point it out, as I remain committed to upholding decorum. However, I will not be silenced in my resolve to speak truthfully, especially as our nation continues to drift toward undemocratic practices. We are increasingly transforming into an authoritarian and repressive regime, where freedom of expression is being systematically suppressed. May God help us create a better and freer society for the sake of our children. -PO

God will not be mocked, @RealJerryEze There was a time when mighty men of God would speak truth to power. Today, pastors used their putrefying platforms to celebrate society’s perversions. A rigged election is what your god is using to prove his divinity? God will not be mocked, Pastor Jerry.
