Swap chaplains in all public schools for counsellors. I can't believe in this day and age it's even something that needs to be said.

TEACHERS & PARENTS:
Over the past 2 years, the majority of our governments have utilised fear as a tool in the pandemic instead of education. This can be fast acting, no doubt, but you cannot easily switch it off.
Many teachers and parents are fearful right now.

SCHOOL communication issue:
1. Tell all parents that Covid is 'mild' in kids - send many of them back to school unvaccinated.
2. Tell all parents you must test all kids 2 x per week.
Given we clearly don't care about teachers, why would I do (1) if (2) is true?
ANOTHER FAIL.

Yes, the boat hit the iceberg, but putting the children in lifeboats is the most destructive thing imaginable to their psyche. It's time for us to stop all this evacuation talk and just complete the voyage.

No child should return to school unless they are fully vaccinated and no classroom open unless it has a HEPA air cleaner installed.
Not one ed official, nor one politician would return to a workplace with unvaccinated people or work in rooms without air cleaners

Had my 8 year olds #vaccinated today. The current recommendation is an #8week gap. There will not be one fully vaccinated 5-11 year old when school goes back. This is a disaster in the making. @JamesMerlinoMP @DETVic @AlanTudgeMP @ZEROcovid_edu #makeschoolsafe #COVIDisAirborne
I'm happy the Andrews Govt are going to provide free RATs. But they have really dropped the ball since they #openedup. #danandrews where are you? What *are* you doing? Victoria largely stood by you for the shit show of 20 and 2021 and now you have abandoned us.

Retweet if you agree that our governments should send a package of rapid tests & N95 masks to every household, every week, for free.

Not that anyone asked but I will be signing 5 and 7 up for the earliest possible #COVID19Vaccine appointments that I can get.
Retweet if you’re in the same boat.

The are you pro Gladys or are you pro Dan wars are banal. It’s about adopting the strategy that works. When Vic messed up - it was important to call it. When NSW messed up - it was important to call it again. Not hard. #COVID19

Common mythology has it that the Gettysburg Address was largely written by Abraham Lincoln in a train on his way to commemorate the Gettysburg battlefield.

Dame Elisabeth #Murdoch was pretty much a wonderful person who devoted herself to good deeds and public life - right? How did she end up with Rupert as a son? I can't make sense of it. #RupertMurdoch #MurdochRoyalCommission
