Hello Everyone,
I don’t want people to be sad about my brother. I want them to remember him for the genuine joy and love he brought to people’s lives. He truly cared about people. He called, wrote, and emailed thousands of people throughout his career to offer help.

(written 2017 so the verb in the title is outdated, but otherwise the song remains the same)

If you ask 50 people their favorite Steve Albini project, you’ll probably get 50 different answers since he worked with so many artists. Today, mine is probably PJ Harvey’s “Rid of Me.”

RIP Steve Albini - he has passed away aged 61🌹
Music today would indeed be markedly different without the influential underground scene of the 1980s.
One individual who played a significant role in shaping this scene was Steve Albini.
