Somehow missed that the new @Outlook app doesn't even work when you're offline. Like AT ALL. How is this acceptable?

So just this week I learned: 1. Chrome is “data mining” user’s browsing history. 2. Microsoft internal systems got hacked for like two years long. 3. iPhone users got hacked by zero-click zero-day exploit, again. 4. Someone is hacking security researchers with GitHub tools. 😬

Dear .NET community as a whole, We've exceeded our budget and we have enough dlls. Please use an existing assembly to contain that single type you just created instead of File -> New Project. Thanks -Dave Kean on behalf of perf (and build) teams around the globe

TL;DR: client-side scanning = VERY BAD idea. Source: Joint Opinion 4/2022 by @EU_EDPB & @EU_EDPS on Proposal for a Regulation of @Europarl_EN & @EUCouncil laying down rules to prevent and combat child sexual abuse (.pdf, July 2022, 38 pages) edps.europa.eu/system/files/…

Conforming to their API and implied behavior. It’s been a PITA. They build in assumptions about behavior that isn’t necessarily obvious from the APIs

Dude, I've done this a lot longer than you have, and I've had to support all the weird IoC adapters that every old framework had. You're right on the face of it, but I still very much resent the power that you have over the rest of us.

Hard agree. I sometimes wonder if the endgame all along has been to own every aspect of the framework internally. Started with replacing Json.NET and just goes from there.

StructureMap did this in production apps in 2004. Every other IoC tool in existence does this. And also, I bleeping hate the AspNetCore team for forcing people like me to conform to their random ideas about how an IoC container should behave.
This is super cool and looks really useful.
