As I’m unrolling the 2026 Rising Stars I thought it might be good to make a playlist of all the artists together. That led me to also want to create one for the 2025 Rising Stars class as well to celebrate them! The inaugural group deserves the same love! This playlist is 120 songs, 5 from each artist both rappers & producers. Sometimes that meant crossover between Rappers and Producers which is why you might see more tracks from some artists, everyone got their own 5 songs selected. Songs with artists not on my Rising Stars list are likely songs from Producers who made the list, just a heads up! The playlist will be available on my YouTube & Spotify always if you take a look! Check out the playlist and all these artists today! Spotify: open.spotify.com/playlist/6v…

From last Thursdays episode of the @hop_high podcast, The Roundtable - Episode 113, here’s my “Outside The Algorithm” pick of the week! This week I had to mention one of my favorite MCs who just dropped his album Sandroze Side B recently, Doza The Drum Dealer! The whole album is incredible and for this occasion, I highlighted the song Spank! @dozathedrum - Spank (Sandroze Side B) Tune in every week, Thursdays live on Twitter, YouTube or IG Live!

Album Review Doza The Drum Dealer - Sandroze Side B open.spotify.com/album/3osPB… Anytime Doza The Drum Dealer drops, I’m gonna tune in. He’s been one of my absolute favorite artists for a year or two now and everything he drops knocks me out of my shoes. With both his rapping and his production which is basically unheard of. But time after time Doza The Drum Dealer delivers. Here we have the follow up to Sandroze Side A, Sandroze Side B, and as expected I wasn’t disappointed! The first thing to take note of this album is the slew of features. This is one of, if not, the album with the most feature on it that I’ve heard from Doza. Doza falls into the type of MC that’s so good I don’t always want to hear features with, but at the same time Doza The Drum Dealer stays within such a talented circle that I couldn’t help but enjoy everything. Under great heavy hitters like Aïda, AYOO BIGZ, Money Mogly, Shottie, Mar, the Narcotechs and many more help carry the weight along the way. Songs like Typecast and the remix, Descargara, Melee, Entitlement, Look At Me and so many more great songs throughout with standout features. No sub par shit can stand next to Doza The Drum Dealers raps or on his beats. Aightmares is the first song I’ll highlight, it’s one that has Doza The Drum Dealer trying to deal with people who don’t understand him. And in turn fantasizing about going off as he spits “I should quit trying to convince you that my shits dope, I should go home and load up a couple of pistols, walk up in the industry party let them shits go”. That’s the kind of shit I love. Jumping from a darker track to the absolute star of an already amazing Sandroze Side B, Spank. Spank is Doza The Drum Dealers son and the song is mostly from Spanks perspective. The kind of song you just have to hear but don’t be surprised when your eyes water up. EA4E is another super standout, with Doza humming within the beat then absolutely crushing that same beat. Everything Ain’t 4 Everybody, important to remember. The last song I’ll mention is Pops (Poem of the Unsung Hero), more of a spoken word type of song which isn’t typically what you’d hear from Doza The Drum Dealer, but he went off. Spitting a poem about the working man being the tough guy. A poem I need to hear from time to time for sure. Sandroze Side B is Doza The Drum Dealers best album of 2026 so far. Do I think he could top it still? Sure, I don’t see a ceiling on what Doza can do. But this brings a lot of elements at an extremely high level, arguably digging deeper into Doza The Drum Dealers personal life more than maybe anything else I’ve heard from him. An impressive feat and an amazing album from one of the best in all of the underground!
