Some of the replies here are a little misleading, so we'd like to clarify how this actually works! 😊 STAYs select the official birthday hashtags through a process organized by our dedicated hashtag fanbase, @SKZHashtag. First, STAYs submit hashtag suggestions through a Google Form. The fandom then votes for their favorites through another Google Form, and the top four advance to a final poll on X (Twitter). This entire process takes approximately 10 days. 48 hours before each member's birthday, @SKZHashtag announces the winning hashtags selected by STAYs. The birthday tagline is typically coordinated through that member's global fanbase. STAYs begin trending the selected hashtags approximately 30 minutes before the birthday begins in KST. This also helps ensure that Div1 can identify the fandom's chosen hashtags, even if they missed the announcement two days earlier. There is no official website where JYPE selects the hashtags, nor are they chosen by Div1. They're organized, nominated, and voted on by the fandom to celebrate each member. The same general process applies to STAYs birthday and SKZ's anniversary hashtag campaigns. It's a long-standing tradition organized by STAYs!
