unfortunately some random decided to whine to the right people n got our cover taken down, convinced we “copied” him bc we had the audacity to independently cover the same iconic track he remixed (ooooo dramatic music ) but since then , him n his npc entourage have been swarming my comments & dms, dragging my character like it’s some personal crusade his “evidence” u may ask ? it’s that neither of us changed the original chords, kept similar structure to the OG, n we both went the dnb route… as if the original isn’t already at 175 bpm n that isn’t THE SINGLE MOST obvious direction it’s embarrassing. this song has been reworked by thousands of artists over the last decade—it’s practically a rite of passage in dance music lol thinking u invented the concept just because you slapped a remix label on it is wild this kind of reaction isn’t about theft—it’s about ego. real artists & real professionals understand that shared influence is part of the game. insecure ones throw tantrums when they realize they’re not the only person with an idea we’ll have the track back up soon since it’s a properly licensed cover, no samples used, no rules broken. appreciate everyone’s support n patience while we clean up someone else’s mess
