Petition to @FootballCliches - inclusion of Dan Burn's goal as the dictionary definition of "leapt like a salmon"
Woohoo Evatt FINALLY realising there is no point having 3 centre backs on the pitch here! #bwfc

Fred, in 1979, brought down a chimney brick by brick.
This is an unbelievable watch.
Fred Dibnah: Steeplejack, 1979
Steeplejack Fred Dibnah single-handedly demolishes a massive chimney stack, brick by brick, from the top down.

The Soviet ЭШ 6/45 Walking Excavator is like a living piece of post-apocalyptic artwork. The rust, the mismatched curtains, even the fact it's decades old and built in a country which no longer exists.
This really is the crux of the problem - NHS systems all being run at 100%, instead of 80%, capacity, no slack to deal with sickness/surge in winter viral illness etc. Going on for years, steadily getting worse. Hospital medical beds >100% capacity in summer = disaster in winter
Replying to @Samfr
3) Efficiency vs resilience - Whitehall still tends to think that a system going over capacity has a linear effect - but it doesn't it's catastophic. But how do we get people to realise that extra capacity isn't "waste"?
Also goes to the heart of the staff retention issue - thankless task constantly being squeezed, working with a full ward/clinic/huge admin pile/GP day at baseline and then having to squeeze in extra to cover sickness/winter pressures etc, not sustainable for most people
Thanks for highlighting this @Samfr - amid all of the coverage NHS crisis has had this winter, nobody has crystallised the problem so well

Tory Government laid bare.
NEW:
Britain’s grim winter of strikes, falling incomes and a worsening NHS crisis is not some unfortunate series of events
It’s the inevitable result of a decade of Tory austerity that steadily weakened the state’s capacity to respond to shocks

Have experienced every types of #eng tournament loss: heroic failure, abysmal no-show, ground down by superior teams. Losing a 50-50 game against a top team is a first…Somehow easier to accept?
So predictable and easy to play against - no width with wing backs cutting inside, so predictably poor at taking and defending against set pieces, Dapo wasted at wing back. 3-5-2 just seems easy to defend against, especially when no width from wing backs #bwfc
All those years of the @Fife_Plague_Doc keeping his Tazocin and Meropenem safely locked away pay off - soon they'll be the only things that work!
