Looking to speak to a grower coming back into OSR for the coming autumn after not growing it for a few years for a @cpm_magazine article. (Or possibly someone growing it in the current season after dropping it in previous seasons). Is that you? Please RT or reply. Thanks!

Amongst all the doom & gloom amidst farming currently, YEN really is a positive project for UK arable farming to look up to - a real shame it is coming to an end. Optimising economic crop output (regardless of system) remains key to navigating the choppy waters ahead

FSS to the left of tramline. Bought in seed to the right. Excellent demo of why keeping FSS is better.

Wheat emergence, 2nd wheat. RHS no catch cover crop, very lightly cultivated with a star shaped, bladed cultivator, cannot remember the make (at speed), LHS-multi species catch cover crop before drilling, no cultivation. Will this difference relate to combine yield next August?

It really was all about moisture this year. July drilled OSR. Right hand side had no previous crop (sprayed off)

How to improve yields on long-term no-till arable farms I am applying for an ADOPT grant to investigate this, are there any long term direct drillers with the same problems as me, who would like to help with this project farmpep.net/index.php/adopt/…
