There are not 47 TV shows from this century better than TWIN PEAKS: THE RETURN, and definitely not some of the ones on that list

Though he participated in a noise jam at an Athens vintage market in 2023, Deerhunter and Atlas Sound’s Bradford Cox has stayed out of the public eye this decade. Today, Cox debuted all new material in a set at Making Time ∞ – his first show in seven years. [📹: @scottgum]

Richard Linklater’s 1991 cult-classic film “Slacker” captures the unique counterculture of Austin by following an eccentric group of characters on a summer day in West Campus. The Texan explores the film’s various filming locations throughout West Campus, comparing archival footage from the film to the present day to see what has changed and what remains the same. thedailytexan.com/2026/07/09…

In 10 years The Return will be the only Showtime show with any cultural legacy left
The Blue Rose Magazine@BlueRoseMag1Jun 26
Two days later I contacted @Showtime for a comment from the programming president about Part 8 for the next issue of The Blue Rose. I was told, "We have already moved on from Twin Peaks." I will never forget that. They still had 10 parts to air.
