We had a pre-meet on Sat with the Harvest Team to go over connections from heat pump to 113 gallon storage tank to manifold that distributes to 5 Pex loops all controlled by the Pod that shifts electric load to midday and releases heat and hot water whenever needed.

Two thoughts: Rs thought they had a better cudgel with inflation. And 2) they were preparing to use their Majority to tarnish #IRA which is still likely. I don’t buy the merits of the law even by R standards will stop them from demonizing it at every chance they get. Stay tuned.

It's 2010. Dems failed to pass a cap & trade bill w/58 vote Senate majority. They lose 6 Senate seats + 68 House. It's 2022. Dems pass an investment-centric climate bill in a 50/50 Senate. It is impervious to GOP attack. Ds hold Senate (gain +1?) & lose minimal House seats. 🤯

Today, we @californiaPUC adopted a major decision eliminating subsidies for new gas hookups to buildings, the first state in country to do so. Big milestone for State in reducing GHGs & other harmful emissions from buildings, on our path to carbon neutrality by 2045.

A few folks wisely credited the outcome of the GA Senate races for passage of the IRA. Taking this a bit further, expanding #VotingRights/fighting voter suppression is a necessary precondition for “winning the win” on climate. Climate philanthropy ignores this at it’s own peril.
$4.3 billion for residential demand flexibility is in the bill! Measured performance pays for time, location, and GHG value at the meter to save customers money and support a clean resilient grid.
