All will be stolen, again and again, always the same, from 1918, a non-stop cycle of allowing western companies to modernize the country, then confiscating those companies, rinse, repeat, over and over. This time the Trump family will get an enormous cut going in, leaving American companies holding the bag.

“We weren’t human beings there. We weren’t even animals.” Ukrainian sniper Oleh Pidsutkevych spent nearly three years in russian captivity. For the first time, he has spoken openly about the horrors he endured. When he thought he was about to be executed, he closed his eyes, said goodbye to his family in his mind, and begged them to shoot him in the head. Captured on June 25, 2022, after russian forces surrounded his position, Oleh watched two of his comrades being executed on the spot. He was taken to a detention center in occupied Luhansk. 28 men in one cell. Two half-broken plastic spoons. Bread filled with sand and maggots, picked clean before they could eat it. No clothes until late October. Until then, they wrapped themselves in bedsheets. Torture was routine. Guards randomly selected 20 prisoners at a time and took them away. Oleh had electrical wires connected to his ears. Using a field telephone, his torturers cranked the handle until he felt his head might tear apart. “They did whatever they wanted to us. We weren’t human beings there. We weren’t even animals. We were just creatures without rights.” He didn't believe he was finally free until he stepped off the plane in Belarus. Some men sang. Others screamed with joy. Oleh sat down and silently lit a cigarette. Back home, he took down his own portrait from Ukraine’s Alley of Hope, where it had hung for 33 months. He will keep it for the rest of his life. He survived nearly three years of russian captivity. Now he faces another battle: learning how to live in freedom.

Another preview of the rest of Europe should Ukraine be unable to stop the savage hordes of Putin's mass murdering trash - an animal shelter is targeted by Russians, rescuers arrive and Russians hit it again. Russians then post drone footage because its all fun and games for them.

28 October 1940: Mussolini demands Greece let his troops in. Greece answers with one word: "Ohi." No. Weeks later, the Greek army pushes the invaders back into Albania. 86 years on, Greeks still celebrate the day they said no. Ukraine is saying it every day.

An overwhelming 80% of Ukrainians now support continuing strikes against Russian oil refineries, despite attacks and threats from the United States. The level of public support reflects Ukrainians’ determination to maintain pressure on Russia’s energy industry, a major source of revenue for Moscow’s war effort. After years of Russian attacks on Ukraine’s cities, power plants, and critical infrastructure, Ukrainians overwhelmingly favor keeping Russian oil facilities within reach of their own long-range weapons.

The Trump administration doesn’t understand that Ukraine can’t be bought. They’re confusing Ukrainians with themselves.
Witkoff tried to convince Budanov of how rich he could be if he sold out his country by allowing Russian pipelines to again flow through Ukraine. Budanov ended the meeting.

This is VERY important. Putin NEEDS the war to continue....total defeat is the only answer....
What the democratic world still fails to understand is what one look at his domestic popularity polling can quickly resolve, namely that Putin NEEDS war to stay in power. He will never give up this constant state of war and if time is any measure, he will need a much larger war some time in the next 2-3 years, and helping Iran and the Houthis destroy the oil industries if missle eastern nations will boost oul prices sufficient to give him the funding to do it. Meanwhile, Europe is focused on the weekend IKEA trip.

😄 A blow from an unexpected quarter! Mozambique's president has made Putin a laughingstock The African leader posted a photo on social media from the so-called Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF). As we all know, the Russian dictator is self-conscious about his height, and photos like this are a rare sight in his official photo collection. Wonder if the photographer is still alive?

New poll: 76% of Ukrainians living in Ukraine believe that armed resistance to Russian aggression must continue, even if some of them have to spend some time without electricity, running water, or sewage services. Only 15% believe Ukraine should accept all of Russia’s demands to preserve these basic comforts, even if it means losing the war. Since August–September, despite all of Russia’s attacks, public attitudes have remained virtually unchanged. 80% believe Ukraine should continue striking Russia’s oil industry, despite US demands to unilaterally stop doing so and threats to suspend or restrict aid. Only 11% believe Ukraine should refrain from such strikes, even if Russia continues destroying civilian infrastructure. 63% are prepared to endure the war for as long as necessary, while 21% are willing to endure it for up to another six months. These attitudes have also remained virtually unchanged throughout the second half of 2026. 62% trust Zelenskyy as president, while 35% do not. kiis.com.ua/?lang=eng&cat=re…

‼️🇺🇦 Wczoraj obiecałem, że przekażę pakiet informacji prosto od prezydenta Ukrainy Wołodymyra Zełenskiego @ZelenskyyUa. I rzeczywiście. Ukraiński przywódca ujawnił konkretne liczby dotyczące rakiet Patriot, które Kijów kupuje od USA każdego miesiąca. To zaledwie 12 sztuk, podczas gdy Rosja w kierunku ukraińskich miast wystrzeliwuje około 150 różnych rakiet w miesiąc. Kupujemy wiele rzeczy w Stanach Zjednoczonych.

This is exactly it. Witless and Nepobaby think everyone is like them--the only thing that matters is how much money you can walk away with; values, morality, freedom or self-determination mean nothing. I am truly ashamed of my country--Ukraine is fighting for the very things that we used to call American values.
🇺🇦 🇺🇲 The confrontation inside Trump's Ukraine peace negotiations is now coming into focus. Le Monde reports that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner spent nearly three hours pitching Ukraine's presidential chief of staff, Kyrylo Budanov, a postwar economic arrangement built around restoring Russian oil and gas flows to Europe through Ukrainian pipelines. The meeting took place on October 9 at the Shell Bay golf club in Florida. Witkoff presented the proposal as a regional prosperity plan: Ukraine would collect transit revenues, Europe would receive cheaper energy, and Russia would regain access to commercial routes disrupted by the war. Budanov saw something fundamentally different. According to a witness cited by Le Monde, he objected that the arrangement would recreate Ukraine's dependence on Moscow. “Our model is not Belarus, but Poland!” he reportedly replied. The meeting was interrupted, and Budanov called Zelensky. When talks resumed, news arrived that Trump had announced a separate agreement with Putin involving Russian diesel. Le Monde reports that an irritated Witkoff then demanded that the Ukrainians accept the arrangement and stop striking Russian oil refineries, arguing that the attacks endangered the wider world. A source familiar with the Ukrainian delegation described its members as exceptionally distressed by the encounter. The account adds a revealing dimension to the commercial negotiations we have been tracking. The proposed Lukoil asset sale, Novatek's involvement in an Alaska LNG venture, the broader US-Russia list of business opportunities reported by the Financial Times, and now the proposed restoration of Russian energy transit through Ukraine all point to the prominence of energy deals in Washington's diplomatic approach. These are separate proposals, with different participants and legal circumstances. But Le Monde's reporting exposes the strategic disagreement underlying them. For Witkoff, restoring commercial flows appears to be part of the mechanism for producing a peace settlement. For Budanov, according to the account, those same flows threaten to restore Moscow's economic leverage over Ukraine. The reported exchange also raises a question about sequencing: why was Kyiv being pressed to stop attacking Russian refineries while Russia continued striking Ukrainian energy infrastructure? Le Monde's reconstruction relies on accounts of a private meeting. The reported exchanges have not been independently confirmed by the participants. Source: Le Monde

Content of Tense Conversation Between Budanov and Trump's Team Revealed Negotiations between the Ukrainian delegation and Donald Trump's special envoys in Miami, as reported by Le Monde, escalated into a conflict. According to the publication, during a three-hour meeting at the Shell Bay golf club, Steve Witkoff "with irritation" demanded that Kyrylo Budanov, head of Zelenskyy's office, cease strikes on Russian oil refineries. Budanov, per Le Monde's information, "barely contained his anger" and felt that he was being "treated like a child, trying to teach him how to make money." The Americans presented an ambitious plan for postwar "regional prosperity," which envisioned resuming the transit of Russian oil and gas to Europe through Ukraine, with dividends paid to Kyiv. Budanov was outraged that such a deal would tie Ukraine to Moscow, after which the negotiations broke off. When the meeting resumed, the Americans proposed accepting a deal for supplies of Russian diesel to the United States. The publication's sources noted that they had never seen Ukrainians "so upset and alarmed." Zelenskyy's entourage described the situation as "hopeless," since Trump's envoys "think only about business." 📸: Press service of the President of Ukraine

The orcs are so f-ing predictable....
DETAILS (as predicted): FT: Residents of Oleshky who want to evacuate to Ukrainian-controlled territory will first be taken to Crimea or Russia. Zelenskyy warned about exactly this scenario. My take: Russia will do a propaganda movie about people “saved” (not starved) by RU, amplified by DC.
