Now, the Madras High Court has ordered its removal within four weeks after the petitioner highlighted that the HR&CE Department had never approved its installation.
Temple land cannot be treated as a playground for unauthorised installations.

18 women developed kidney failure. Swollen legs. Puffed faces. Frothy urine. They had all bought the same fairness cream online. Goree. Made in Pakistan. Sold through Instagram pages and Meesho.
This happend in Nagpur, India. Doctors ordered tests to find the cause. Lab tests shocked everyone. Mercury at seven hundred fifty two times the legal limit. Lead too. The cream had no expiry date. No batch number. No manufacturer name. Just poison in a jar.
Mercury blocks an enzyme called tyrosinase. That enzyme makes melanin the pigment that darkens skin. Stop it and new pigment stops forming. Old pigment fades as skin cells shed. The result looks instantly fairer. The catch is mercury also damages kidneys nerves and the brain while doing it.
Doctors biopsied two patients. Membranous nephropathy with NELL-1 deposits. A signature of mercury poisoning. The metal was soaking through skin and settling in kidneys.
On July fourth Maharashtra FDA declared it not of standard quality. Banned Goree. Banned Face Fresh Gold. Banned Golden Star. Raids followed. Stocks worth over ninety lakh rupees were seized.
Then came the criminal cases. Six FIRs across five districts. Section twenty seven of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Up to three years in jail. A Chembur shopkeeper was booked. In Pimpri the Anti-Terrorist Branch arrested a man with twenty three packets. In Sangamner another seller was caught. The FDA even asked for an anti-terrorism squad inquiry.
CDSCO went national in September. Goree and Chandni. Both flagged. Still some shops sell them. People still buy.
The treatment worked when caught early. Stop the cream. Give a modified Ponticelli treatment regimen. Kidneys started recovering. But one doctor warned the truth. With mercury this strong damage can begin in ten to twelve days. Symptoms may stay silent for years. By the time you feel it it may be too late.

Kerala High Court granted anticipatory bail to Additional District Judge Rino Francis, whose 17-year-old son drove a Mercedes that killed a 55-year-old scooterist in a Kochi hit-and-run.
The court questioned the need for "further interrogation" after the judge had already been questioned for over four hours.
Meanwhile, the victim’s family has alleged evidence tampering, while police continue investigating the fatal crash.

The “pledge” specifically linked to the radical left wing handle @thecaravanindia, that lists over a 100 Hindu American organizations as “RSS linked.” Not just “a few families.”
That @AbdulElSayed @RoKhanna @RepJayapal @HamawyForNJ signed the pledge remains a scandal for Hindu American campaign donors.
This is a pure lie. The pledge promises to not take money from the RSS and the movement that killed Gandhi. It involves a few dozen families in America who can be shown using public records to be connected to the RSS through occupying leadership positions or financial ties.

There's a printer in our office that hasn't worked since 2021.
Last month Facilities asked IT to dispose of it.
Easy.
Except company policy requires a signed Asset Disposal Authorization before any equipment can be removed.
The authorization must be printed, signed by the department head, and attached to the equipment.
I submitted the form.
Finance rejected it.
Reason: The printer still has a book value of $14.62.
They can't write it off until the next depreciation cycle.
Fine.
We moved it to storage.
Facilities rejected that because storage is reserved for operational equipment.
It's not operational.
"Then it needs to be disposed of."
I explained Finance won't let us.
Facilities said that was an IT issue.
So I found a solution.
I submitted a repair estimate.
$480 to fix a printer worth $14.62.
Finance rejected the repair because replacement would be more economical.
I submitted a replacement request.
Finance rejected it because we already have enough printers.
I attached the rejection to the disposal form.
Finance rejected that too.
Last Friday an auditor asked why we had a broken printer sitting in the hallway.
I explained the situation.
He said leaving unused equipment in a hallway creates an asset management compliance risk.
He recommended assigning someone to oversee it.
My manager just informed me I'm now the official custodian of the printer.
It's been broken for five years.
It has no toner.
It cannot print.
But it has an owner, a depreciation schedule, and a quarterly compliance review.
It has more job security than I do.

In several states, it has already crossed 70%, approaching 80%. Yet, the BJP is pushing for further increases in reservations, potentially leaving General Category students fighting for a shrinking pool of unreserved seats.
LOOK AT THE NUMBERS:
🔴 𝗖𝗛𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗦𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗛: SC/ST/OBC students account for 79% of higher education enrolment. Yet, the BJP is arguing for an additional 8 percentage points in reservation, taking total reservation to 68%.
🔴 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗛𝗬𝗔 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗛 : SC/ST/OBC students account for 67.2% of enrolment. Yet, the BJP is arguing for an additional 13 percentage points, taking total reservation to 73%.
🔴 𝗕𝗜𝗛𝗔𝗥: SC/ST/OBC students account for 71.2% of enrolment. Yet, the BJP is arguing for an additional 15 percentage points, taking total reservation to 75%.
🔴 𝗥𝗔𝗝𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡: SC/ST/OBC students account for 73.1% of enrolment. Yet, the BJP is arguing for an additional 4 percentage points, taking total reservation to 64%.
🔴 𝗢𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗔: SC/ST/OBC students account for 59% of enrolment. The BJP government increased reservation by 30% in 2026. General Category students are already facing intense competition for medical, engineering and other sought-after degree courses.
And this is not merely about higher education. Government data also show SC/ST/OBC representation exceeding 70% in jobs.
𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗮𝘀 75% 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘀.

When reserved seats expand, the pool of Open seats shrinks. Every additional percentage point matters to students competing for those seats, irrespective of their family's financial circumstances.
The most disturbing part?
Many General Category people continue to vote, give their time, money and effort for, campaign for and defend the BJP, Congress, SP and other parties as though party loyalty matters more than their children's future.

For General Category families, this should not be a question of BJP versus Congress, or SP versus any other party.
It is a question of YOUR CHILDREN’S FUTURE versus the policies of political parties.
A vote is temporary. The consequences for your children's education and career can last a lifetime.
