ALT Black text on a pale yellow background with a black Art Nouveau border. The text reads "Bat Appreciation Month" above a framed Paul Kidby drawing of Otto Chriek the vampire photographer, beaming nervously behind a gigantic camera and tripod. Behind the picture frame is a cloud of flying bats. (We "bat" you can't guess which Discworld vampire is the social media wrangler's favourite...)

ALT Black text on a pale grey background with a black Art Nouveau border. The text reads: "'In ancient times, cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this.' is *not* a quote from Terry Pratchett." The word 'not' is capitalised and underlined for emphasis. We're really sorry, folks! It's a great quote! But Pterry never wrote it.
ALT Black text on a pale yellow background with a black Art Nouveau border. The text reads "Ada Lovelace Day" above a digital graphic of Ada Lovelace, a young white Victoria woman with dark brown hair in a bun. Behind her are hundreds of 0s and 1s in a visual representation of binary code.

ALT A snowy landscape in shades of blue and purple with tall fir trees. Three characters are making their way through the golden lit snow in the centre of the image, an older redhaired woman in a cloak, the main character, Liv, a young girl with red hair is in the middle carrying an axe, a third hooded character, possibly male, behind her. An eagle is sweeping through the air behind them. In the background, against a pink sky, looms a mountain which almost appears like a figure with their face turned down.. A blue stone shines on the book spine, in its centre is a Norse rune.
ALT Black text on a pale yellow background with a black Art Nouveau border. The text reads "World Post Day" above an image of an official Royal Mail commemorative stamp with art by the official Discworld artist, Paul Kidby. The stamp shows Moist von Lipwig in his famous gold suit and wingèd golden hat, carrying a postbag and a huge sheaf of letters. He is flanked by two saluting elderly postmen in navy blue, chests covered in medals. The facial topiary of both gentlemen is frankly outstanding.
ALT Black text on a pale yellow background, with a black Art Nouveau border. The text reads "Banned Books Week". There is a colour picture of Sir Terry Pratchett, an older man with a white beard, glasses and trademark wide-brimmed black hat, next to his quote: "The space between the young reader’s eyeballs and the printed page is a holy place and officialdom should trample all over it at their peril.”
ALT Black text on a pale grey background with a black Art Nouveau border. The text reads "But… well… surely… the privation, the terrible hazards, the daily risk of death…” Mr. Saveloy brightened up. “Oh, you’ve been a teacher, have you?" - Interesting Times by Terry Pratchett
ALT Black text on a pale yellow background with a black Art Nouveau border. The text reads "On this day in 1936... The Battle of Cable Street was fought in London." Below it is a photo of a red circular wall plaque with white writing, denoting (as Pterry would put it) that the battle took place halfway up a wall. The text on the plaque reads: "Tower Hamlets Environment Trust The Battle of Cable Street The people of East London rallied to Cable Street on the 4th October 1936 and forced back the march of the fascist Oswald Mosley and his Blackshirts through the streets of the East End." "They shall not pass"
ALT Black text on a pale grey background with a black Art Nouveau border. The text reads: "Wolves hate werewolves.’ ‘What? That can’t be right! When she’s wolf-shaped she’s just like a wolf!’ ‘So? When she's human-shaped she’s just like a human. And what’s that got to do with anything? Humans don’t like werewolves. Wolves don’t like werewolves. People don’t like wolves that can think like people, an’ people don't like people who can act like wolves. Which just goes to show that people are the same everywhere.’ said Gaspode. He assessed this sentence and added, ‘Even when they’re wolves." - The Fifth Elephant Terry Pratchett
