One thing I’ve realized as I’ve gotten older:
I don’t think being completely independent is something to aspire to anymore.
Having family, friends and/or a partner you can depend on, and who can depend on you, can make life so much richer. It really takes a village.
I hate getting assigned a male grocery shopper. They can never find anything, and pick the worst substitutions.

I spent 43 minutes detangling my hair in the shower. I was too bedridden to groom and braid it while I was sick, and now I’m paying for it. The amount of conditioner I went through is ridiculous, especially when that shit isn’t cheap. 😩
I just want a cat who will cuddle up with me in bed while I’m sick. Mine hasn’t checked on me ONCE. 😩 But God forbid if he was bedridden. She’d be all up in his space, cuddling with him and everything. 😂
Being sick sucks. You have to drink all this water to stay hydrated, but then you have to keep getting up to pee. MY BODY IS ALREADY EXHAUSTED. WHY DO I HAVE TO KEEP GETTING OUT OF BED TO COMPLETE SIDE QUESTS? JUST LET ME ROT IN PEACE. 😩

Had a nursing interview today with two nurses and got the job! 🥹 Three girls in the office hyped up my outfit and were SHOOK when they found out my age because they thought I was younger. 😂 They made me feel so comfortable before the interview even started!
