The market can be crowded, but every indie game is still someone’s passion project. ❤️🎮 A reply, a share, or trying a demo might seem small, but it can mean a lot to a developer trying to get noticed. That’s the kind of gaming community we want to build with E2A Play where great games and the people behind them get a chance to be discovered. #GameDev #IndieGameDev

Is it worth putting your demo on itch? Trust the System just hit 16,000 players on itch (8k+ in the last 4 days!) and I finally got answers I couldn't find on the internet. So, here's the thread I'd have liked to read before releasing my demo (with stats screenshots) 🧵👇

Some indie devs have put hundreds of hours into a game that most players haven’t even heard of yet. Drop your game and the hours you’ve spent building it! Let’s find some hidden gems before the next fest. You never know who might discover their next favourite game through a post like this. #IndieGameDev #GameDev
So fellow vibe coders, question for ya. How many hours have you sunk into your game creations? If you're up for next fest I'd love to hear the stats! Single prompts and years+ let's see what you got. Share your games and stats below!

Your game can be in development for months and still launch to an audience that doesn’t know it exists. The problem isn’t always the game. Sometimes, players simply never discover it. Imagine building your community before launch, with demos players can try and creators can share. That’s the kind of discovery E2A Play is built for. Why wait until launch to find your players? #GameDev #IndieGameDev
One thing I've noticed from my recent social media experiments is that many indie developers underestimate early marketing. If your game takes 100 days to develop, posting 3 gameplay clips or screenshots a day means 300 opportunities to get discovered before launch. You should be building a player base WHILE developing, not AFTER releasing your game and hoping the algorithms will notice it. Am I wrong, or are too many indie devs leaving marketing until it's too late?
