No other company can do what E2B does to help Agents continuously optimize the tools they use. Congratulations to @E2B @mlejva
We hit an annualized run rate of $120M in October.
This year alone, weāre projected to add around $150M in net new revenue. This is an amazing milestone and a testament to the work of the @e2b team.
Iām particularly excited about two things:
1/ This showcases how strong the tailwinds of AGL (Agent-Led Growth) can be.
If you build a tool for agents and optimize your whole growth engine to serve them, you can see tremendous growth. This isnāt something you can just throw money at and buy. Agents donāt decide based on ads. You need a sophisticated growth engine that fine-tunes things like your AEO. I think this is what all future B2B devtool sales will look like. Increasingly, decisions about tool adoption will be made by agents, not humans.
2/ The use cases weāre serving. The majority of our revenue and usage comes from agents running in production. Not RL.
When we started, we had two theses: (i) code is all you needāall agents will use code to complete tasks (which has turned out to be true); and (ii) sandboxes for agentic workloads will be a bigger market than sandboxes for RL workloads, but takeoff will be slower (still playing out).
In the past 30 years, every company has become a software company. In the next 10 years, every company will have become an agent company. Weāre building an infrastructure layer to power all these agents.

You can now host QM on E2B.
Run QM, its agent computers, and the apps they build on E2B.
More details here: docs.e2b.dev/agents/qm
.@ycombinator open-sourced the agent harness it uses internally, @qm__dev. It gives everyone on your team their own agent in Slack, so every agent needs a computer to work in.
That computer can now be an E2B sandbox. Set "sandbox.backend": "e2b" and every person and channel gets an isolated sandbox from the qm-sandbox template, with the GitHub CLI, the AWS CLI, Claude Code and Codex preinstalled.
Ask QM to run your tests and open a PR, and it does the work in your sandbox without touching anyone elseās.
Run all of QM on E2B with e2b sandbox create qm, or point your existing deployment at it.

Cloud coding agents are a surprisingly hard infra problem, and itās been awesome working with @mlejva and team to deliver fast, reliable coding agents in niteshift.dev on @e2b!
Niteshift gives coding agents full dev environments on E2B, with complex Docker workloads and live previews that resume in seconds. Co-founder and CEO @smehmood joins @mlejva to share why they chose VMs and how memory snapshots enabled live preview for him.

Ever wondered how @co_valenta and I started @e2b?
A quick founding story how we got started by @co_valenta
Box Mount lets developers mount Box as a filesystem directly in any agent sandbox, so agents can work with files and data just like a person would.
In this article, we show how it works with @DigitalOcean, @E2B, @OpenAI, and @vercel.

Youād think Iād be the last person to say āsandboxes are dead.ā
But Iāll be the first to tell you that sandboxes arenāt the whole story for agentic infrastructure.
A lot of the loudest takes here come from people who havenāt built agents that operate at scale. The reality is less convenient: thereās no single tool that fits every task. What matters is knowing what to use, when to use it, and which tradeoffs youāre making.
Everyone feels like they need a strong take. It has to be A or B. In the real world at real scale, itās usually some combination of both.
The real world is messy. Infrastructure at scale is full of constraints you donāt see in a demo. If you havenāt dealt with them, itās easy to mistake what worked for your agent for what should work for everyone.
At @e2b, we believe agents will increasingly make these infrastructure decisions themselves. Theyāll choose the resources and environments they need for the task, with the underlying infrastructure handling orchestration, isolation, and control.
The only way to survive in AI is to keep building for where things are going. By the time youāve built for what agents can do today, theyāre already capable of more. And the easiest and fastest way to be wrong is to think your solution is the one.
Sandboxes are part of that future. Thereās a lot more to build around and alongside them.
Thatās what weāre building at @e2b

We're all wrong. Agents are the only one who are right.
We should let agents pick what infra they want to use.

ClickUp Brain is doing the thing everyone says agents will do.
Point it at your workspace and it writes code, runs it, hands back finished reports, decks, dashboards.
Not just answering questions. Doing the work.
ClickUpās Brain² runs every frontier model with full context of your company, writing and running code to build reports, decks, and dashboards across all teams.
That code touches sensitive workspace data, has to start instantly mid-conversation, and has to scale to millions of users. Thatās why @ClickUp built its execution layer on E2B: every sandbox is its own microVM, starts from a prebuilt template with tools ready, and scales on demand.
Enterprise-ready, from SOC 2 to HIPAA to full isolation.

The sandbox is a primitive for modern agent engineering
We're investing heavily - enables better artifact generation, data analysis, scaled agent context management via code mode, and much more
Will grow as a % of compute over time as agents expand in autonomy/responsibility

More than ever it's important that the security researchers and engineers have access to the same AI tools as the bad actors.
This is a time race. All software is vulnerable and it's highly unlikely that any software out there is without vulnerabilities.
But now we have a chance to fix enormous amount of these vulnerabilities.
