Twitter has intensified a lot of social problems and scrolling posts on here tends to make me sad, but it’s worth mentioning that Twitter’s demise will significantly harm reader-supported non-corporate media that relies on it as a distribution system for independent journalism.

I don’t think people fully understand how difficult NIL deals are as a female student athlete. Not only r the deals way more scarce, but the companies u work with expect WAY higher quality posts compared to male competitors. (NIL as a swimmer is also a whole different thing lol)
“In NIL, female athletes generate 4x more total audience engagement & 7x more engagement per deal than males, despite having fewer than half as many partnerships–which may compel brands that traditionally favor men’s sports to revisit their marketing strategies" -@sponsorunited

Omaha is home. I’ll keep fighting for you places like Omaha. If folks of color only worked or went places where we weren’t ignored…
Those who know, know.
Just got another request to help out in #Omaha. I am boycotting Omaha. It’s the one city in the US where I have given 2 public lectures that were completely ignored. I will work in Omaha when offered an opportunity for which construction is already funded. I offered my sympathies

In 2018, the cis girl on the left came in 8th in a HS track event. The trans girl on the right came in 1st.
The cis girl went on to earn 5 state titles, qualify for nationals 4 times, and now runs D1.
The trans girl was pushed out of sports altogether.
Guess who's suing who?

ALT On the left is a photo of Selina Soule, an anti-trans activist and Division 1 track athlete for Florida Atlantic University. She is standing in a pink workout jacket with her hair in two braided pigtails with a race track in the background. On the right is a photo of Terry Miller, a transgender woman and former HS track athlete. She is wearing a grey t-shirt and is sitting on a race track.

If your going to have a title for u23 give us our own race. Its a complete different dynamic.
The point of this sport is to cross the line first, not finish somewhere in the bunch and get rewarded for it. That’s not why I race. Come back when you can give us a proper race @UCI
