Today is the official cover reveal of my book, marking the start of Grief Awareness Week @goodgrieftrust. It means a lot to be able to share it. With huge thanks to the brilliant @hollydrawsinink. Out on 27 March, and available to preorder now! @septemberpublishing @Duckbooks
Another chance to catch my @BBCWomansHour interview about my dad (who’d be extremely surprised about this turn of events), music, and grief TODAY at 4pm on @BBCRadio4 📻

‘It is possible to re-emerge from grief, life is change, memories matter, and music can help.’
Absolutely. Thanks to @BuzzMagWales for the lovely review! @Duckbooks
Reading music historian @e_macgregor’s While The Music Lasts feels a bit like listening to a confessional autobiographical album

It’s publication day for While the Music Lasts! It’s off to make its own way in the world. A hard book to write, but I’ve met some incredible people along the way. Thanks to everyone who supported and encouraged me, in big ways and small. 🙏🎶@itshallBDunn @septemberbooks xx
Book is out there making its way in the world without me, thanks @Francesforbesca 🙏🙏

There’s still time! Just 26 days left to stream the @BBC broadcast of @Opera_North's LOVE LIFE on @BBCRadio3.✨Dubbed “an ingenious revival of Kurt Weill’s forgotten musical” by @thetimes, this recording is not to be missed. Tune in: bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0027m1…

Just been made aware of @e_macgregor's upcoming memoir While the Music Lasts, which sounds fascinating, beautiful and touching. Check it out below!

Niche research question: anyone on here know where to find out what visa/immigration laws would apply to someone from Hong Kong moving to the UK in the 1980s?
I channelled my musings on the total weirdness of writing memoir into a substack post

Twitter doesn't work how it used to, so I'm brazenly reposting with a picture of my lovely dog.
I have a Substack now! Please subscribe. Link here 😊 tinyurl.com/y6bm7y6p
📢📢I finished writing my book!! 🥳💃
So now I'm putting some of that leftover time (lol) into Substack, where you can get more of my writing on music, on memoir, and probs sporadic tales from the trenches of music broadcasting.

For anyone else who needs to read this this morning, this is what’s currently stuck to my computer. #amwriting
Please could some people who know what they are talking about recommend me a Coltrane biography? Or a great book about jazz of the era in which he features? #amwriting #stillwriting
